Are atheists really as stupid as they seem to be?

And attacking religion seems to keep the blood in your wrist.

But it does me no injury for my neighbor to say there are twenty gods or no God. It neither picks my pocket nor breaks my leg.

It’s an adorable quote if it weren’t for the fact that laws based on the Christian religion have been in place denying equality for decades upon decades.

and not at all. Do I think it’s bizarre and cultish to do to your children? Do I find the chanting really bizarre? Absolutely.
But my stance has been the same. If it makes you a better person? Great. I just don’t want laws based on your silly talking bush thinking

I love it when people take something written 5000 years ago and was translated countless times literally. Then they apply it to current times.

What I love is when people take the words of the Bible and construe it into whatever they want as cack sure fact… Then when they challenge you on it they say oh it was text from 5000 years ago that’s been translated a bunch of times. Or yeah that’s part of the old testament. Or whatever other excuse they have

It’s not an excuse. Christianity = Christ. His word super cedes anything that came before him. Just like our constitution did away with English law. Sure, it’s still referenced, but out side of story telling or parables, it has no bearing on the canon. It’s not “this is the word of Abraham “. It’s “this is the word of the lord”. Continue to poke fun all you want, I too believe the fantasy stories are humorous. But if you think Christians are basing their belief on that stuff then you are ill informed.
