I looked into this a little throughout my cancer journey.  My (incredibly unqualified) opinion is that probiotics are a bit risky because they change the makeup of your native gut bacteria.  Prebiotics on the other hand (I hadn't heard that word before now, but nutrients like fiber) help to keep your gut bacteria healthy.  I've chosen to go more of the "prebiotic" route.  :cheers:
