Solid choice, sadly there are plenty who do not make that choice. And since it remains her body and her choice, well, she is accepting the risk associated....

I think we are beating around the same issue but to me I think a man has a pretty big part in this as well and the ability to make smart choices. I'm not arguing it is 50/50 in the blame game but I certainly don't think it is 100/0 or even like 80/20.

I tend to disagree, the man has a role, but the woman decides whether sex transpires and then also whether a baby is born....this much has been made abundantly clear over the years.

I support the womans right to choose.

Reminder that this all started because some posters said that women who get pregnant unplanned are sluts.  Clearly there is a bias here, and it has shown over several pages now.

Not at all.  I support it.  But see, here is the rub....its a false flag. Abortion is not about womens health or the "my body my choice" propoganda...not at all...its about wanting to have unprotected sex without consequnces.  And frankly....so what....why not have sex as you please and not have to face up to the consequences......

Could people just not have sex? Sure. But we know the feeling of "getting off" does a lot of things for the mental health of people and just in general "feels good." Additionally- we could probably agree- it feels better getting off with someone else versus by yourself. Also, everyone who has ever had sex with and without a condom would agree- without the condom feels better- for men and women. 

Here is the problem I have- we know condoms are not infallible as protective devices. 2 out of every 100 women will still get pregnant even using male contraception. 15 out of every 100 will get pregnant using female contraception.

In the US there are approximately 138 million people between the ages of 15 and 50 (ages that could conceivably get pregnant). The average adult has sex once a week. Let's be fair and say that 138 million are coupled together so you are talking about 69 million sexual encounters a week. If everyone used male condoms that means there is a chance on any given week that 1.36 million people could be in a pregnancy situation. If they used female condoms that would give you a chance of 10.2 million people being in a pregnancy situation.

Now admittedly those numbers are a little loose and all that (and we are assuming obviously that everyone is straight- but since they are not it equates to eliminating roughly 4.83 million people from the 138 million number). but even at bare minimum in this scenario- 1.36 million people could be pregnant even using condoms and making a "choice with their body." I refuse to think the woman takes all the blame in those scenarios.
