polecatt 478 Posted August 13, 2023 I know it's just one preseason game, but he looked excellent! He's not gonna take over for Tony Pollard or anything, but he could carve out a nice little role in the Cowboys offense. How much value does he have for fantasy purposes this season and beyond? How much value does he have for fantasy purposes this season and beyond? unless hes starting or getting significant play as part of a time share, likely not much. but this is Pollards first year starting. while it is possible they will want him to lead a committee, he is still on the franchise tag. when you give a player that kind of money, it is usually a safe bet that player will get most (if not all) of the reps. to that end, I wouldnt draft him. but I would put him on my 'players to watch list' and if he shows something early you can grab him of the waiver wire. He's absolutely tiny and will never be a 3 down back. He'll be TD dependant
jrokh 608 Posted August 13, 2023 Who cares how guys do against dudes that will be bagging groceries in a month....
JagFan 158 Posted August 13, 2023 He needs to add 15-20 lbs. He’s very talented, and if he does that he could become a very good NFL RB.

Thats when the pre season reports matter the most.

He's 5'5 and 170 lbs soak & wet. Let's see how it goes when a 4.4 (240 lb) linebacker drills him at full speed. He can't take too many hits at his size, not in today's NFL
