I get the flu shot every year and I get the flu about as often as you.  It's just one of those things where I don't see a good reason not to.  Unlike the covid vax, I see the flu shot as having more benefits than not.

One reason to get it is to help potentially stop the flu from spreading around to others (via you).

That being said I don’t get it every year religiously either.
