Back to back beautiful midwest weekends-very nice.  Started preparing for winter by putting the hoses away, but not the lawnmower quite yet. Packers pulled off a miracle coming back from 17 down to start the 4th. Didn't think they would do it when they passed up 3 points on the first play of the fourth and failed to score, but they did anyway. Was a pretty ugly game except for the result.  And I mailed back disc 1288 to Netflix(Children of Men), end of an era.

On this day in 1975 Pink Floyd's concept album "Wish You Were Here" reaches No. 1 in the US, goes on to sell 13 million copies. ---seems redundant calling anything by Pink Floyd a "concept album".

One other thing, I got the 4K Special Edition version of The Professional with an extended cut.  I was hoping for either more action of more Gary Oldman, but all you get is Luc Besson's creepy 'interest' in younger woman. It's legitimately uncomfortable to watch.

I sanded some drywall, installed a built in microwave, spent a few hours doing a deep clean of the house, and grilled twice.

 

I also kind of went overboard when i went flashlight shopping, I wanted something that I could use to search for animals at night time. I ended up with this flashlight.  For fun I took it to the swamp behind our house last night and was able to light up the area pretty good. We found lots of bunnies.

Rafted the Blue and the Colorado.  Caught many brookies, saw a black bear and many big horn sheep.  Watched the Packers shoot themselves in the feet with stupid penalties for three quarters. Loved the final outcome.  hope the pacvkers can win thursday with no new injuries and then use the mini bye to get healthy and to clean up all the mental mistakes.  Young team but the low football I.Q. needs to be cleaned up yesterday if not sooner.

It was a cold and rainy weekend, all plans were cancelled.  Only got one run in with the dog, 3.5 mis.  Wedding anniversary Saturday, had a top 10 meal, seabass topped with crab in this insane cream sauce, phenomenal.  Didn't have to watch the Giants lose yesterday so it was a good day.
