My point being that the right way is to acknowledge the simple mistake and move on.....not use the instance to pretend its a statement on leftism.....

The left makes their own statements illustrating their  Nazi tendency.  See the government-corporate alliance to destroy Russel Brand as the example of the week.  The left would load up the deplorables in trains to the gas chambers in a heart beat.   And if you doubt it, you are denying thousands of years of history of how the human race behaves.
