Definitely not as in his favor as 3-1, but a lil bit in his favor because the pitcher doesn't want to go to 3-1, so the batter may get something close to swing at.

I was at an Orioles game once a while back. First year of Camden Yards I think. 1992.  I never got loud at games but I had a couple beers in me and heckled Jose Conseco (I think he was with the A's at the time before he was moved to the Rangers?) while he was in the batter's box. Focking guy hit a home run. Ooof. He had 26 that year with 2 teams. 

Camden Yards was an awesome stadium. Love the surrounding area as well back then. The immediate surrounding area and maybe Fells Point. The rest of that city is a shlthole.
