The Innocence Project has helped free a lot of wrongfully convicted people over the years, but I don't see how Scott Peterson falls into that category.

That’s interesting. Usually this would mean a decent theory for innocence has emerged. But I hope they’re not just doing this for the publicity

Also, the confessed perpetrator had information about the crime that was not released to the public.
