In 1969 we could put people on the Moon, communicate with them, broadcast it on tv and RETURN BACK TO EARTH. Yet we can't replicate that in 2024? We could barely get this stupid ass tin can up there and still don't know if it was successful. The amazing Eagle camera was supposed to disembark and snap several high def photos of the landing from above, however NASA powered it down because the landing navigation failed, the lander circled the moon again and they used a new experimental lazer landing device onboard with the cameras off.
