The result of such bans will be, IMO, that some of these teenagers will run away from home to seek help in another state, and some of them will kill themselves. 

I am not necessarily opposed to banning the surgery for minors. But this issue needs to be addressed with much more compassion and understanding rather than intolerance and religious morality.

The United States is the outlier.  All other civilized countries have banned them.  This is a step in the RIGHT direction.

If they kill themselves then it just points to the fact that this is a mental illness - something those with common sense and logic have been saying the entire time.  We should not be catering and pandering to them for virtues like you and your side are.

Also, studies have shown that the surgeries DO NOT, in fact, prevent them from killing themselves as they are killing themselves at the same rate pre and post surgery.  I know, facts you don't like but facts you must hear.

Once again, the left is on the wrong side of history.  I'm sure in 20 years you'll be in here proclaiming you were Republicans back in 2024 because the parties switched.

The step to save these children from making a biggg mistake is indeed to right step, stop then from being able to take place, South Carolina is now state number five.  

The wrong thing to do is to keeping children from hurting themselves, like when they want to touch the hot stove, I’m sure you’re okay with that.
