I’m pointing out a red state that supported Trump got hit by a major storm & it can’t get its calls answered by FEMA.

My point about Hawley is he’s a guy who usually preens to get hits on a fox & right wing news but here he had to leave his posturing to directly ask the head of DHS to ask the president to look at the request. Same thing has happened in Mississippi & Arkansas.

Now I've never said that. But what's happening is that multiple red states, deep red states, are being ignored when it comes to disaster relief. The tornado warning system has been reduced by Trump's main benefactor, looks like the same thing is happening with the hurricane preparation system,. and DHS is openly discussing just eliminating FEMA altogether. Those are events under this administration.
