Read the Torah, it’s says many of the same thing, wicked.  Jesus Christ your Lord and Savior, is are shield, only to those that don’t deny him.  Indeed Amen Thanks

Great reference. Great novel. The sequel is even better IMO

I figured you would get the reference. I never read the sequel. I chose that book (no pun intended) for an 8th grade assignment. Wish I would have know there was one.

Don’t really know any Jews, but I was working temporarily in parts of NY following hurricane Irene back in 2011 and those Hassidics looked at me (when they would look at me at all) like I was dirt.

They look at me the same way.

They see us as animals. It's in their law. Imagine if congress proposed a law declaring a certain people animals.

What government doesn’t look at its people as unequal.

How is this different from most religions? Hasidism are extreme Jews. Extreme Christians believe everyone but them are going to hell (even Catholics and Mormons). Extreme Muslims believe everyone but them are infidels and worthy of death. Extreme Hindus believe that non-believers are a caste below Untouchables, mainly because we consume cows and pigs. And on it goes. The good news is most religious people aren’t extreme.

It was disappointing because I was excited to be there and excited to be in their community specifically.  I thought it was going to be a fresh new experience.  It was 10 days before I was deployed elsewhere and I was thrilled to leave.

I don't see any Christian laws that claim all non Chrisrians are animals and their children can be raped without retribution.

Those are not laws, they are just statements from the Talmud. There are plenty of entries in the bible that look pretty perverse from a modern perspective as well. I would like to think that those following the word of the Talmud aren't doing it literally, just like Christians are no longer stoning people (in America, anyway).

Moral of the story: Extremism in ALL RELIGIONS sucks!
