Looking to add a bench player... Brooks is still on IR

Jeudy, Douglas, Vidal, Goodson

My order at the moment is Goodson, Douglas, Vidal and then Jeudy

I would rank Douglas, Jeudy, Vidal, Goodson.

 

Douglas seems to have the most upside which is what I'd think you want in a bench player.  I'd only consider Vidal if you want to cuff Dobbins.  Similar to Goodson with respect to JT, but it's not clear to me that he has passed Sermon on the depth chart (even though he has performed better).

It wouldn't be a handcuff for either situation. More of a hunch, especially knowing the SD coach loves to run and Taylor has ankle injury history.

Douglas, Jeudy. Both now WR1 on their respective teams. If you don’t grab Jeudy now, he may not be there. I think Douglas might be the safer bet with a better QB

I thought I read somewhere that Jeudy and Cooper's numbers through 6 games were close?

My gut says Douglas over Jeudy. I don't have any other reason or facts

Normally I would agree. 3 things to consider:

1)Cooper is gone, most of his targets will be distributed to Jeudy & Njoku....Jeudy was averaging 7+ pts prior to Cooper leaving. 

2) Chubb is coming back. With him on the field, defenses are going to have to account for an ACTUAL rb1.....this should open up the pass game more. Even at Watson' current stink level 1 & 2 should equate to better #'s for Jeudy. 

3) It's always possible that management will tire of Watson no matter how much they have invested & give Winston the rock.

None of this points to Jeudy turning into the second coming of Jerry Rice....but I think it could put him in the solid wr2 category.
