Trump: “It doesn’t cost 60,000 bucks to bury a f****** Mexican!”

"True Maga" doesnt care what the donald says at this point. They love him.

But there is a large group of people that can see an increasingly devious and dishonest media is a horrible thing for this country.

25 years ago 60 minutes would have had their entire staff terminated or they would have likely resigned. Jeff Goldberg would have lost his job the last time he pulled this.

We are living in a world where journalists now use the Colgate commercial technique as their gold standard.

So people like "trail guy" impune every source that denies the story, but rely heavily on a source that he can't even provide a name for, and then aggressively tries to deflect from that.

That's low IQ stuff.

You might as well say nut uh and na na na boo boo. Same level.

Thanks, so it sounds like (A). I appreciate the response.

Same author as the suckers and losers hoax story. Same sources too.

Lol.

Democrats have no shame. They all know this story is fake. They don't care. It is just another excuse to rage post and tweet.

@jonnyutah: the “suckers and losers” story is a hoax because Trump denies it, even though we have Trump on record disparaging John McCain’s service by saying “I like people who don’t get captured”

also @jonnyutah: some guy posted a grainy video of something on a grill, that means Haitians in Ohio are eating the pets!

Who is the person that said he said it?

I’m more curious about reneging on the financial promise.  According to the article, the family’s lawyer says they sent a bill to the White House, and the military/government did not pay the entire cost.  And despite condemning the article as a whole she has not commented about that aspect of it.

What do you get out of this whole obsession with petty democrat media garbage spreading hatred on the internet?

You do know you are simply endorsing and spreading fabricated trash don't you? Of course you do. So, again. What do you personally gain from it?

That’s cute if you think it’s only the Democrat media doing it.

I don’t get anything out of it.  I’ve said repeatedly I prefer not to use the news as sources, I prefer primary sources.  The alleged comment seems to be a he said/she said situation that is gonna be hard to prove or disprove unless there’s audio.  But whether or not the family asked Trump/the WH to pay something and whether or not they actually did can be easily proven or disproven.

No. The suckers and losers story is a hoax because it has never been verified as true and Jeff Goldberg is the only known source.

From snopes:

In sum, the claim stemmed from a story by The Atlantic, awhich relied on anonymous, second-hand reports of Trump's alleged words; there was no independent footage or documented proof to substantiate the in-question comments; and Trump vehemently denies that he once called service members "losers" and "suckers." While it was certainly possible that he said those things, Snopes was unable to independently verify the claim.

Unverified is not the same as a hoax.  HTH

Of course it is.

Its impossible to prove somebody didnt say something. When making such ridiculous claims about something somebody said, you have to at the very least offer a he said, she said to not be a hoax.

The suckers and losers story didnt even provide that. It was an unnamed he said/he said/he said. That's save ferris level nonsense.

So you think the unnamed sources don’t exist and Goldberg just made them up?  I would guess most likely Kelly is one of the sources, who has gone on record backing up various aspects of Goldberg’s stories.

Even unnamed sources are still better than the “Haitians are eating pets” claims which you believe yet were all third or fourth hand and often just based on social media posts.  Your hypocrisy is staggering.

Edit: Overall I agree and have already said that it’s a he said/she said.  But that’s different than a hoax.  It’s also why I’m more interested in actual facts like whether or not money was requested from the White House for the funeral which never came, which appears to be the case based on the quote directly attributed to Khawam in the sorry.

Kelly, lol. Dude has gone on record, but is unwilling to go on record here? I thought you were big on encyclopedia brown investigating?

The family's lawyer calls goldberg a liar and you are all like well, the lawyer didnt say exactly what he was lying about. Lol.

This is the part you fail to understand. Goldberg outed himself as a POS dishonest hack the moment he published a story based on anonymous second hand stories. I dont have to weigh in on anything else. He already did it. We dont allow those things to have weight in our society because they are unfalsifiable and have no place. That is the whole point. That is why a court would never allow it. That is why a teacher would never allow it. That is why a parent would never allow it.

Only partisan hacks give it weight.

You give it weight.

If A then B.

A.

B.

Goldberg claims his sources heard it firsthand, not second (and not third or fourth like the cat eating Haitian stories that you believe).

The lawyer said Goldberg lied in the story, she didn’t say it was all a lie.  If so, as I’ve said, I look forward to seeing her lawsuit against him and the Atlantic.  It would be great press and a great money-making venture for her, both in the damages if she wins and donations from the sheep righties.  But she has not stated she plans to do that (Fox News even brought it up and she said nothing).

And once again, I don’t give much weight to the alleged “f’ing Mexican” comment. But I’d kinda like to know the specifics about how much Trump/the WH was asked to pay and how much they actually paid.  Speaking of the media sucking, weird that no one asked about that specifically in the interviews of the family/lawyer.

In general, I'm not a believer in the everything is a hoax type mentality.  You don't have to work hard to get me to believe Trump has said some pretty off color things.  But when it comes to the Atlantic, I'm about as confident in them as I would be something from Alex Jones.  This story just breaks about the Hitler comments all these years later just two weeks before the election when the polls show Trump has the momentum.  So there's that, and the odds that is a coincidence is pretty low.

So I wouldn't believe them at all, but truthfully does it even matter?  Maybe he said it in an off the cuff moment when he was angry at Kelly, maybe he said it and there is no context left out.  But what is it going to change?  Those who are going to believe it or care enough where a comment is going to change their vote in a negative way about Trump have already have made up their minds Trump is horrible and already are Harris voters.  This isn't the first time inflammatory comments have been attributed to Trump, it's a long term pattern.  I just can't imagine the voter who is out there who says, well all those other times had me on the fence, but yep this time the Atlantic has me convinced.  I just don't think that voter exists.  Maybe it drives up some base intensity.
