Yesterday Elon Musk told an absolute lie on this subject; he accused the Democratic Party of bringing in “illegal immigrants” (his words) and giving them fake Social Security numbers and collecting benefits. 
 

The truth is that many undocumented immigrants DO have fake Social Security numbers, in order to work “over the table”, but these result in them paying INTO the system (through employer deductions) not receiving benefits. It is extremely rare for any undocumented person to ever receive benefits. It’s a one way ladder in the other direction, and it’s helping to keep Social Security afloat. It’s also a big part of the reason that these folks are an economic net positive for America.

so a few years back when I was in the emergency room in Phoenix waiting for 2 hours because there were over 20 illegals before me-----so that is extremely rare for illegal immigrants to receive benefits?
