I’m liberal, working in a STEM field, making 6 figures. The field I’m in is mostly Chinese, Korean, East Indian, Latino, female and black. There are very few whites and if they’re white they’re usually a woman or an older white man about to retire. 

The manufacturing jobs aren’t coming back. If you don’t let the talent in, next you’ll see tech jobs going overseas as well…to places like Africa.

What’s more likely, brown immigrants will be let in to continue to run the tech industry, white citizens will replace brown immigrants in the STEM fields, manufacturing jobs will return once Trump imposes tariffs, tariffs will only cause higher prices but jobs will remain out of the country, and/or tech jobs will also leave the United States if brown immigrants cannot fill them.
