weepaws 3,206 Posted January 2 Sad. Hebrews 4:12. For the Word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedge sword, piercing even to dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. Indeed Amen Thanks
TBayXXXVII 2,553 Posted January 2 They'd probably get more people if they didn't require a degree or teaching certificate... just be able to pass the Basic Skills test. That way, you open the position up to people who have the knowledge to teach, just not the certification or degree. Meaning, a person who is an engineer probably has the ability to teach math at a certain level, but doesn't have an education degree or teaching certification. Have that person pass the Basic Skills test and give that person a job to the level which they're qualified. Then, in the summer, make it so that these people can get their certifications at NJ colleges. This allows them to get the job without having to quit working to go to school, and maintain an income. Give them a period of time to get the necessary documentation and you're likely to get more applicants.
