After that is when it becomes trouble. The MAGA crowd is expecting that the millions of folks here without documents who don’t commit violent crimes will be rounded up and deported as well. I very much doubt that will ever happen. And if it DOES happen I think it will be extremely unpopular. We’ll see. But my guess is that despite all the rhetoric Trump and the Republicans will simply tighten up the border, deport the violent ones, and call it a day. 

Even if that’s all they do it would be a huge step in the right direction. There is literally no good argument for anyone to be living here full time illegally. 

the only argument to cling to is that low paying jobs won’t be filled with illegal immigrants and prices of goods and services will go up. Which is one of the instances of rising prices that should be supported.

People also forget that there are legal immigrants here who are still willing to do those jobs for cheap because it beats where they came from.

I have a friend who is dating a Brazilian woman that lives here illegally. She also got her half brother here and her daughter is in the process. 
I recently took a trip to a different country with this friend and he made the comment to me that it was a shame _______ people were coming to the country and taking jobs away from the local citizens. 
Thankfully I wasn’t drunk yet and bit my tongue. 
 

Funny how hypocritical people can be when it comes to this stuff.
