How can you even narrow it down to 5? Favorites from today, or all time? I get tired of music pretty quickly. I've listened to Pearl Jam's Ten more times straight through than any other album, but will probably never seek out a song from that record again, it was sooo overplayed.

So I'll list the historic favorites, even if I don't listen to them much or at all anymore:

Back In Black

The Wall

Live After Death, but you could insert any Maiden album before 1990 in this spot

Strong Reaction

Everything Is Wrong

Honorable mentions: Operation Mindcrime, Over The James, Punk In Drublic

I loved the top five list automatic disqualification for being used in "The Big Chill."

Automatic disqualification for having Joan Cusak in the movie.  Also Jack Black and John Cusak and the lesbian from Roseanne

Only semi claim to fame.   Cusack went to my HS.  He was a year older.  Partied with him, before he was anybody of course.   But I know he was there cause we had mutual friends.

Didn't care then...Didn't know the guy really.   But still..Kinda fun

"Rob, top five musical crimes perpetuated by Stevie Wonder in the '80s and '90s. Go. Sub-question: is it in fact unfair to criticize a formerly great artist for his latter day sins, is it better to burn out or fade away?"
