My autistic son picked up the bass and got the bass gig in a college jazz band three weeks later. Oh, and he graduated from that college with a 4.0 GPA and was the only one at the year-end recital who not only had his music memorized but played it at professional-symphony-level quality.

He's exponentially smarter than anyone on this board, including me.

OOOOFFF. I can understand not loving Springsteen; I like a lot of his stuff but I'm no superfan. I would like to see him live someday but I don't like him enough to pay the prices. But what you are claiming here is just rock and roll sacrilege. Do yourself a favor and listen to the album Darkness on the Edge of Town. If you still hate him after that, you'll always hate him.

Bruce seems to you like Van Morrison is to me. One or two good songs and the rest is trash. Plenty of people vehemently disagree with me on that. But I did give at least two full albums a listen before I became too nauseous to continue.
