I’m going to get lambasted for this but I’m absolutely putting Phil on that Rushmore. 
His last Masters win was 15 years ago, his Open title was 2013 and obviously became the oldest player to win a major in 2021. Prior to leaving for LIV he was arguably one of the 3 most famous, biggest needle moving players in the game with Tiger and Rory. He and Tiger made “the match” a thing.

And there’s also part of me that wants to point out he was instrumental in LIV, which like it or loathe it, changed the landscape of golf and exposed the issues of the PGA  

Rory has to be in there, as much as I dislike him. 
 

Brooks is tough. 5 majors and a cool nickname but never won much outside the big ones and wasn’t very well liked (and didn’t care). If the 5 majors gets him in, it’s only 2 more than old man Phil over the 15 year period in question and Phil beat him heads up.

Haha I’m not going anywhere, brutha. My last comment about playing banker was just letting everyone know how that’s going to run next year in case someone else wants to take over. 
 

As for the real life game I’ve been tinkering with my driver and currently using the shaft that came in my Qi10 with my M2 head and bombing it. Putting has been better as well. Iron play has been a struggle and the scoring undone by too many penalties.

@WhiteWonder  it’s a book that is a few years old but I just started it. Tiger & Phil by Bob Harig. I’m only a couple chapters in and hope he doesn’t end up with a Tiger bias at the end. If you want to know how much I liked Phil- I has a right handed Yonex driver in the mid 90s

Speaking of 90s nostalgia- any of you guys remember the Cleveland VAS clubs that looked like Vanilla Ice vomited on and iron mold?  Corey Pavin  remembers.

I agree with Scottie, Rory, and Brooks.  I'll add DJ as my 4th, he was pretty dominant over a lot of that window.  Plus he gets to snort coke off of Paulina Gretzky's ass.

Sticking with my ASU bias, I was tempted to add Rahm as my 4th.

I wish Rahm stayed. There was a 3 year stretch where he was the no brainer first pick. Would love to see he and Scottie battle more than four times each year.

I mean he’s only done his damage in the past 3+ years but Scottie? Does anyone have more than 16 wins and 3 majors? Then the last guy could be a lot of guys with 2 majors (DJ, Rahm)?

I used a Cleveland VAS lob wedge in school matches (my father actually bought the entire set )

He’s an all time great, 3 of his 6 majors fall in the time period Lager gave. And it’s a Masters, Open and PGA showing his range. Plus setting the record for oldest major winner. 8 total wins in that span I guess is lackluster.

I took a peak at Paddy Harrington. We would have to go back 20 years for him, but he had a run that was just as good as Spoeef
