AOC downplays LA riots as mere 'teens' throwing rocks

 I think she forgot about the illegals and murderers and looters and arsonists and rapists. 

 

 

"Squad" Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y., downplayed the recent riots in Los Angeles, attributing the chaos to unruly teens – not violent anarchists – and blaming former President Donald Trump’s immigration crackdown for the unrest.

Ocasio-Cortez took to the social media platform Bluesky on Tuesday and said Democrats don’t need to "answer for every teen who throws a rock" and that her party was falling into a Republican trap by trying to explain why parts of the sanctuary city had gone up in flames. 

She instead blamed President Trump for the chaotic scenes that have resulted in property burned and rocks and Molotov cocktails thrown at law enforcement as some agitators waved Mexican flags.

They tried down playing the 2020 riots the whole year too back then.  And then denied the whole violent year ever happened. They won't even acknowledge it now.

Just another teen throwing rocks...

The Department of Homeland Security on Wednesday announced that Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) arrested a previously deported illegal immigrant from Mexico after he allegedly threw a Molotov cocktail at law enforcement amid rioting in Los Angeles on June 7.

In another scene, protesters were captured on video pulling down an American flag from a flagpole near the federal building and lighting it on fire. 

In Austin, Texas, on Monday, four police officers were injured trying to disperse a crowd of several hundred demonstrators that moved between the state Capitol and a federal building that houses an ICE office. Austin police used pepper spray balls and state police used tear gas when demonstrators began trying to deface the federal building with spray paint

Austin Police Chief Lisa Davis said three officers were injured when people began hurling "very large" rocks, while a fourth suffered a shoulder injury during an arrest. Austin police arrested eight people, and state police arrested five more. 

In Dallas, hundreds of protesters gathered near the Margaret Hunt Hill Bridge on Monday night. The situation was tense at times, with people throwing water bottles, fireworks and rocks at police officers, FOX4 Dallas reported.
