When I was young we were driving and he saw a dryer at the end of someone's driveway. He went to their door and asked if they were throwing it away and do they mind if he took it if so. They said take if you want but it doesn't work. We took it home. He looked at it for 5 minutes. We went to Sears and he spent $5 on a part.
