It's never Hamas's fault.  It's Trump!

The fault here is Hamas. The fault is almost always Hamas. Hamas is evil.

But that doesn’t mean we can’t be critical of Trump. I wrote last week that no matter what happens now, Donald Trump deserves great credit for getting the remaining hostages out. That remains true, it always will be true. But I also believe there were some real opportunities here for a more lasting peace in the region and rather than take them, Trump did what he always does: spent his time congratulating himself and crowing about his achievements.

They will now face total annihilation

Deservingly so, right?

Absolutely. Every member of Hamas deserves to be killed and the world would be a better place.

But this won’t happen. Like Isis and the Taliban it is very difficult to kill off Hamas because ultimately it’s an idea, like Communism or Nazism. In this case the idea is that conditions are so hopeless for the Palestinian people that the only solution is the mass murder of their enemies. That idea cannot be eradicated unless you have a viable, economically productive land of Palestine. And that’s a long way off.

Who's Hamas? Are they fake like Antifa is?

And how do you tell the civilians from Hamas when they are Hamas???

Was it?   I’m seeing a bunch of reports that a bulldozer may have run over an old IED.  Some claim to have sources within the White House, others are coming from Palestinian journalists that Jerry will say are Hamas (reminder; non-Palestinian journalists are still not allowed in Gaza).

Regardless of what happens going forward the remaining living hostages were released and that's a big win.  Anyone blaming Trump for Hamas' refusal to honor a peace agreement, for the umpteenth time, has severe TDS.

I agree it’s not Trump’s fault.  But this time, so far it’s not clear if it was actually Hamas’s fault.

Maybe don't hold a giant peace event before actually achieving peace.  Trump is such a POS.

It's not Trump's fault that there is no peace.

It is Trump's fault for declaring peace when there was no peace.
