Angry Americans 0 Posted Wednesday at 04:07 PM I am in a pretty funky league. 31 years old this year, which I started when I was in junior high.... Anyway, we have a semi-keeper league. Any player drafted after the 5th round, and not a FA can be kept. Must keep a total of 3. We start 2 QBs, 4 RBs, 4 WRs, 2 TEs, 1 Flex (RB/WR/TE), 1 K, and 1 Def. QBs get 6 pts per TD, and generally score the most. This league is also a Salary cap league, with players getting assigned values pre-season (based on FFtoday rankings) as to their value. Here are my (mostly poor) options: Brock Purdy Sam Darnold Braelen Allen Jaylen Wright Jaylen Waddle Keon Coleman Kyle Pitts I am leaning towards Waddle, Purdy, and Allen. But would love some other opinion/input...

Keon is the better player for now but certainly Allen for keeper. I think he could take over the Jets backfield as early as later this year. Vibes are not good for Hall. He may even get traded

I'm not excited about Darnold, but in a 2 QB league, out of those options, I'd keep Purdy for sure and Darnold begrudgingly. Then it's up to Allen and Wright. With Mattison out, Wright's stock goes up as a handcuff. I think Allen is the better player, but I also think he has the harder path to fantasy production given Achane is a wee fellow. I suppose when in doubt, go with the better talent. Give me Braelon. Your 2025 keepers are: Purdy Darnold Braelon

weepaws 3,220 Posted Thursday at 04:14 AM I would agree about Waddle, I would let him go, and keep Purdy, Coleman, Allen.

I'm willing to bet that most teams in your league are keeping at least 1 QB and as many RB's as they can. Why I'd keep Wright... last year, Allen got 111 touches as the RB2 on the team... nothing changed with his/the Jets RB situation. Wright had had 74 as the RB3 in Miami, but Mostert's 104 are now available with Mattison being out for the season. I don't think Achane has the build to take the bulk of those touches and I think Wright has a shot at being close to doubling his total... especially since Miami didn't really impactful additions to the backfield after Mattison got hurt. WhiteWonder 2,797 Posted Thursday at 07:24 PM Purdy, Darnold and Wright it's a 2 QB league which means a lot of QBs are likely to be kept. Keeping 2 does not or should not stop you from drafting one highly. Darnold can be a solid QB3 once your roster is complete and in a league like this, that is almost worth more than your weekly starting 4th RB or WR. And I assume this is an 8 or maybe a 10 team league at most. WRs are easier to find in later rounds or in free agency/waivers so I would lean toward keeping one RB over Waddle or Coleman. TBay already outlines above why I would keep Wright over Allen. Additionally, Allen was not very effective last season. If Breece were to actually be traded, I would swap Allen in over Wright but barring a trade, Hall is not losing his job.
