Round 3 is complete, and 30 states now remain.

The following states were eliminated:

Group A - Oregon
Group B - Indiana
Group C - Pennsylvania
Group D - Delaware
Group E - Washington (tiebreaker vote)

Round 4 will be a DOUBLE ELIMINATION round.

The two states that receives the highest number of votes in this round will be removed from the "island."  There are no specific criteria for voting, use whatever criteria you wish.

In the event of a tie, my vote will decide which state will be eliminated.

Washington and Oregon are great hiking and skiing states.  Boo

Some of the most epic scenery in US all very accessible. Washington has 3 National Parks all within a day drive. Oregon has great coastal towns. World class wines in both states. Great skiing. An erupted volcano you can hike. One of few temperate rainforests in world. High, dry plains on east side of states if that’s your thing. Great beer. Great food. Washington has San Juan island chain. Mild climate on West side, if you want buttass cold and insane heat go over the mountains to east side. All your computers run on tech created here, all your shopping too.

These people are dumb 😂

I missed that round of voting but I agree with your sentiment -- in my general criteria, outdoors activities are a big plus.

I get that people are voting off the Leftie "states," but I would suggest people try to look past the major metro areas and/or college towns.  Or not, it's your vote.  :D

Some places suck so much, they'all actually pay you to move there.

The city of Topeka is hoping to bring new faces to town with financial incentives.

Topeka is offering up to $15,000 if you move there and buy a home, and up to $10,000 if you rent.

To get the incentives, the person’s employer has to participate and contribute to the program, and the reimbursement would be paid after a year of residency.

Topeka also has programs that offer up to $5,000 for those who move to the Kansas state capitol after leaving the military and up to $5,000 for former residents to move back.

Other cities that offer financial incentives to relocate include Tulsa, Baltimore... and the entire state of West Virginia.
