I didn’t respond to you out of deference, seriously. And I thanked you for your POV. And I’ve never said a critical word about you personally, and I never will. But to respond, it was a *Republican Congresswoman from the Miami area stating (claiming) that the US would be invading (or toppling Maduro) for the oil. I didn’t comment on it, I just presented the video of what she was saying.

I regularly used to push back on this stuff - Iraq1, Iraq 2, Syria - where liberals would claim that the US was just acting for the profit of the oil companies. Statements like that, & the behavior of this President, make that claim really hard to argue against here.

About your response above, I really wish you’d said we were acting to take down an oppressive regime, restore democracy, combat narcotrafficking.

We don't want the oil, we couldn't care less, we don't want it.  But controlling it makes sense for us.
