crackills 24 Posted Tuesday at 07:52 PM My first time in a suicide league and dont see many discussions on this, so thought I'd start one.. FAB budgets are 1000 So i just barely survived last week losing Nabors and Hill in one week.. that hurt. options include: Jamar Chase K Allen Pittman Slayton J Jennings How much are you bidding considering its just wk5... and what is the general strategy when you get the inj bug to your key players early.. all in? GobbleDog 1,009 Posted Tuesday at 08:16 PM I think suicide league is the same as a guillotine league. Right? I'm in my 3rd year in a guillotine league. We also start with $1,000 FAB. The "experts" warn not to bid much the first few weeks and I've stuck to that advice. Only used about $75 so far picking up some mid-level Wrs with $20 - $30 bids. If you lost Nabers and Hill (oof - that sucks), then you probably need to pony up a little extra. Something like: $175 Chase - I'd go more, but without Burrow not sure Chase will ever return to superstar. $125 Allen $75 Pittman $60 Jennings $25 Slayton For me, I'm hurting at Rb and Gibbs just hit the waiver wire and I'm bidding $181 ... My biggest bid so far this year, but I need help. I probably won't get him, but that's as high as I'm willing to go. It's too early to brake the bank. weepaws 3,274 Posted Tuesday at 08:19 PM I wouldn’t spend that much on Chase.

He almost certainly won't be around down the stretch. Gotta save that money for the elites later in the season.

I would look at your match-up first....see where you sit. You might not need to spend much to be competitive on any given week.
