listen2me 23 1,965 Posted Wednesday at 11:04 PM God I love ve Mike Tyson. And I dont want to shlt on him because Mike Tyson was really good in his prime. Name me his top 3 wins in order. Michael Spinks ok. A very old Larry Holmes. Who else? Thats literally the boxer people put on a pedestal, look at his record and tell me all the greats that he beat. Holmes is a great, he was coming off back to back losses to Spinks when he fought Tyson. He was 39 years old. And still, its one of his top 3 wins. People think the Ali's, Foremans, Tysons just fought straight killers each time out.
listen2me 23 1,965 Posted Wednesday at 11:14 PM For an all time great, Mike Tyson may have the worst resume. Its few and far between anyone relevant to really good status. And when he did, he lost. But was self compromised by then. I attribute it some to just his era. He sort of fit in perfectly with a weird era. But his opponents are not some list of good fighters. The ones he beat were at the end of their rope. It would have been great to see prime Tyson thrown into a different era. I hate to burst anyones bubble because I love Tyson too even if I missed his best stuff.

But when basically googling joshua and easily finding hes 36 years old and has fought in numerous HW title fights vs the very best boxers and his last fight was a title fight ...is all it takes.... Google is your friend "Is he fighting a real fighter" ok honest question. Ed reaponds "So... no? He isnt because these guys in a highlight video dont look like prime mike tyson, I dont follow boxing and dont even know what boxers look like" Lol. I feel like you kind of did though especially based on this last response. Just because I'm not into boxing anymore doesn't mean I don't know what boxers look like. I'm sorry but at least half the opponents in the video Ed told me to reference look like guys you'd see in a tune up fight. Then you explain that many of those are probably his super early fights, which kind of ads legitimacy to my question, at the time, not knowing much about him. So you've educated me that he is a top tier boxer, top 10 HW even currently and I don't believe that I've tried to dispute that. If it seemed like I was, that was not my intention. So I guess Paul has entered the realm of legit boxing. Good for him. Maybe I will start to care now. You are one of maybe a dozen guys who post here who I enjoy talking sports with but sometimes it seems like you get easily irked or like you "have a dog in the fight" so to speak. "google is your friend" is a typical telling response in those situations.

"google is your friend" is a typical telling response in those situations. A few probably were. Or a few were guys with 6-0 records when Joshua was young with similar record. But they dont look like guys sitting at the bar drunk getting into a fight. But not sure how you can gather how legit a guy is from a highlight video. Take any top guys top 10 KOs and there will be littered with "tune up" looking fighters or journeymen. I dont see how that adds legitimacy to your question. Joshua has fought most of the top HWs of his generation. A 2 time HW champion. Why does some highlight video hold more water than his actual resume? Should scouts draft players on their highlight tapes? Im not understanding the big deal of Eds video.
listen2me 23 1,965 Posted 18 hours ago The over under is 2.5 rounds. It would be great to know what Joshua's plans to do on the night. He said if he doesnt get him out in round 1 then its a failure. But you can never take that sort of stuff to the bank. If he wants to get him out within 2 rounds he will. Or he could carry him. If anything I am betting the under....as I get annoyed watching Joshua go easy on him.
