They have an above-average NFL QB but repeatedly fail to assemble an effective OL. All this is no surprise yet they will continue to change Harbaugh's approach without addressing the elephant in the room (the GM). I wouldn’t say they failed to assemble an effective OL, they had injury’s that wiped it out.
Showboat 308 Posted 8 hours ago Saw a report that Mike McDaniel will meet with Bucs about their OC job. I think that would be a great hire for Baker and the Bucs offense. He'll probably have options as the Lions also interviewed him for their OC job. He's probably waiting to see if he can get another HC gig, but I think he'd be much better off taking one of these good OC positions, flourishing, and re-emerging as the top HC candidate in the next cycle (unless he can somehow score the Ravens HC job now). I think a big part of what is happening is that they have a good QB but prefer to run more than pass. Also I suspect the owner is seeing all these younger QBs and exciting coordinators and fancy passing games and he wants some.
