First golf outing of the year

my son begged me to take off work so we could go before he returns to college, so I had to oblige.  Should be 60 degrees by 2 pm

I didn't know so many of you were so into semantics.   Just me and him playing 9 holes. 

Also in the bag is mostly taylor made... got the mid irons in a set from dicks, snatched by lower irons one off online, and a driver my neighbor was selling in his garage sale.   I could stand to upgrade my woods and putter.  Nice balls though because my FIL has money and bought me pro v1s for Christmas.

I was only half being a Richard. I love golf outings but the earliest I ever had one was March

I played terribly.   Probably nothing better than a double bogey.  Just hard to get settled in and relaxed as I'm too busy thinking about work and life and can't just take a breath, relax and swing a club.   And I dont play consistently enough to really be any good, although I feel like my mechanics are decent having taken lessons in high school with our local pro.

Still, had the afternoon off, spent some time with the boy before he goes back to college and he really enjoyed it
