BiPolarBear 476 Posted July 1, 2015 I heard Roy Clark say that he would have that gotten an earlier start on guitar, but he ordered a guitar study course through the mail and It never came. ...Years later he found out that his mailman had become quite a guitar player... Roy also was a boxer. Imagine the surprise of learning about his hand speed.
NewbieJr 540 Posted July 1, 2015 That is awesome playing. And he's an even better banjo player.

We've been performing some Latin stuff lately, and I've had to put in a lot of practice to get the strumming and timing down just right. It's not my favorite type of music, but I can appreciate the nuances. But this video clip is really just other-worldly. It may not look like much to people who don't play guitar, but it's every bit as impressive as EVH, Vai, Beck, et al. doing their thing.

NewbieJr 540 Posted July 1, 2015 Jerry Reed is known more for his comedy, but he was also a fantastic guitarist https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tv_dPN_8Drs&feature=youtu.be
