For a 31 year old wr with chronic hamstring problems, I think so. Of course if his deal is structured like DMC's where the Iggs are only out a small signing bonus if he goes down, then not terrible. But if the $2.3m is guaranteed - really bad deal.

 

Chip may be an innovative, good coach - but he sure seems over his head as a GM.

 

Its probably a pretty low and easy cutable deal.

With today's cap...2.3 mil for what may be the 3rd or 4th WR option isn't all that bad.
