What's the best thing you ever predicted that came true? :bold spinoff:

4 outta 5 aint bad.

The most famous one was back when Ricky Williams was drafted, "Ricky Williams will be a bust!" and I was absolutely attacked for my opinion that he was not worth drafting ... few dynasty leagues even existed, and I clarified that I thought he was a good player, but a bad match for Ditka. Ditka focked up that draft for the Saints because he thought he saw some kinda special talent, in one guy.

Yeah, so that was the first one I can remember.

More controversial was, "I hope the Giants lose out and get Eli Manning in the draft." Everyone said I was high.

I think I already predicted the other way in 2000. giants "win out, get homefield advantage and make it to the Superbowl and you should buy stock in Apple Computer" ... everyone thought I was high.

Been pretty accurate about the Giants in fantasy, saying Victor Cruz was special and should be drafted ahead of Nicks. I've said every year though, Giants recievers are like Saints receivers. If Eli is having a good day, he can really zero in on one guy. He will play what the defense gives him. Might be Larry Donnell is a stud one week, next week everyone will want Fells, chasing points. Stay away from all Giants until further notice not named Jennings or Beckham in PPR.

There's been other stuff too, but I want to hear a prediction you are proud of!

ETA: Recaps of my calls this season of "breakout games". Hurns, check. Hunter, miss. Taliaferro, check. Ebron, check ... and the Latavius Murray breakout thread ... well, just add it to the other legendary predictions I have made over the years.

And yes, I was high. I've been high the whole time.

I predicted correctly that after getting caught for Spygate the Patriots would never win again in the Belichek/Brady era. Except that they would continue to get an easy pass each year to 9 or 10 wins and a playoff spot while playing in their traditionally weak division.

That has proven out to be true.

That's funny was just looking over Ricky's old stats when I came across your post. Haslett didn't handle him much better than Ditka. It's a shame about Ricky because he really should have been a great fit here in NO as far as he and the city were concerned, and he was a great RB after all.

Ditka, so many great teams in CHI but he was a moron when all was said and done when he was handed talent decisions and wasn't surrounded with HOF'ers.

Giants didn't draft Eli.

Oh, and your Murray breakout thread?

The one where you said you were not that happy with doing it...didn't expect much...didn't see he had burst and he may only score by a pass...and that you were only playing him because of a crappy other option?

Yeah...you really went out on that one.

I remember Ricky going for 1k his rookie year, but whatever.

Anyway, I hit and miss like everyone else but I consider myself the patron saint of Kolb bashing. Flashback to whatever year it was when kolb went to AZ. Fftoday was all abuzz over Andy Reid's constant declaration that Kolb was a superstar despite playing all of 1 garbage time game or whatever it was. Great way to boost trade value for a guy like the pats tried to do with mallet. The predictions for a top 10 season were everywhere, no one had him less than top 20...except me. I bravely took the stand that he was a product of Reid's babble and nothing else.

As for this year, I have my Montee ball will be a bust and also my Foles won't out score Eli or flacco declarations. Foles gets a pass due to injury, for all we know he could've bounced back.

I predicted the Ravens would win in Denver during the 2013 playoffs.
