  1. We have an opening we are looking to fill in one of our long term leagues. The league is a 16 team IDP, contract dynasty league that has been around since 2012 with a 2nd league with the same rules that has been around since 2015. The leagues have been set up to mimic the NFL in many ways: Contracts - after acquiring a player you assign a contract between 1 and 4 years. This allows players to continue to rotate through the league and helps teams who are rebuilding. Franchise tag - you keep one zero year contract player per year who is given a 4 year contract. Transition tag - we have an auction for transition players and the original owner is allowed to match a bid and keep the player. Worst to First waivers - to help teams that aren’t as good to rebuild quicker Trades - The setup of the league and the contracts makes trading an important part of running your team. We normally have very little turnover with many years of all teams returning. We have a balanced scoring system where IDP’s scores are a very important part of the league. We have had a defensive player lead our league in scoring in the past. We have a far more accurate scoring system for QB’s and RB’s. The QB loses points for an incompletion and a RB loses points on a run for no gain. So, a QB who has a horrible game will not save his day because of garbage points. If his completion percentage was low and very little to show in TD’s or yards his score will not be good. The scoring has been proven with usage since the early 2000’s so we know it works. We start a QB, plus 5 offensive players (RB, WR and TE plus 2 flex) We start 2 DE, 1DT, 3LBers, 2CB, 2 Safeties and 1 flex plus a kicker and punter Annual fee is $60 with $30 for the following year if trading next year picks. The Insane Asylum - Has open team The league site is: https://www48.myfantasyleague.com/2024/home/30231#0 Open Team: Handlebar https://www48.myfantasyleague.com/2024/ ... =0003&O=07 He has all his picks in the upcoming rookie draft - the fifth pick in each round. The Man Cave - No openings The league site is: https://www49.myfantasyleague.com/2024/home/48493#0 Thank you for your interest.
  2. 16 team dynasty empire-like league that is a race (read the footnotes to understand) $35 entry fee All new team owners will be in a dispersal draft (before our Rookie Draft) for players and draft picks 2 Open teams (Fast and Furious, Girl in a Flatbed Ford), we do have 1 new owner, looking for 1 more. New Owners will randomly be picked a team (divisional position matters here) email me if you want to join or have any questions at richhavlik@gmail.com https://www45.myfantasyleague.com/2024/home/13649#0
  3. What we've got: 1 orphan franchise - 20 Team Dynasty - $60 Entry - MyFantasyLeague/LeagueSafe The AFFL is not something most ff players will be interested in. This is for the 1%'ers, the full time fantasy junkies - It's a 20 team league with.......EVERYTHING........Salary Caps, Contracts, Dead Money, Full flex offensive rosters, IDP, kick returners, punters, taxi, Franchise Tags, Team Captains, Extensive Offseason Activity, including off season free agency and trading with counter offers with an auction and draft for near year round activity This is who we're looking for: An owner that wants to be in a league with a lot of communication between team and commish and between all teams on the message board (participation isn't necessarily required, but there's a lot and keeping up with them, at least, is very helpful) An owner that will go into this planning to stick with us for at least 3 seasons (we have a very stable league - still have 11 original owners, 14 from first two years of the league) An owner who understands it may take a full calendar year to really get a good understanding of the whole set-up and rules of the league (The league rules are extensive; if you happen to be a rules junkie, like a couple of our owners, you'll enjoy looking for loopholes to exploit) An owner with a good head for numbers - because of the salary aspects of our league, you need to be the kind of person that just likes working with spreadsheets and numbers - our 2020 Champion happened to be a financial advisor And MOST IMPORTANTLY must be a fantasy football fanatic that wants to experience a whole new level of nearly year round full GM management of their team to a deeper level than ANY other league experience you've seen Here's what you'll get: Our owners don't have teams, they have franchises. The available franchise, in my opinion would be just outside of the top 10...maybe 12 or 13th in a preseason power ranking of the league, and their financials are very, very good, and will be easy for a new owner to take over. You will manage both personnel AND finances for your franchise with so many different available options, that each of the 20 teams in the league end up using much different strategies. Lots and lots of them. There are no position minimums. You can build your roster with a variety of position combinations (every team's is different). Your starting line-ups includes a Super Flex and 4 Flex, with scoring set up individually for each position. With our scoring system for example, a top tier RB will outscore a mid tier QB; in some cases, top tier RBs and WRs score better than some top tier QBs (our top 10 last year had all 3 positions, and also a couple of Safeties). This means you could forego a QB all together to invest in studs at multiple other positions and be just as successful (it's been done). The same is true on defense with 5 IDP starting spots and scoring different for each position...although you can also change some position designations (see how many options?) Setting weekly line-ups will be more like running a basketball team where you can plug in any number of personnel groupings. This means that 20 teams aren't all going get the exact same number of players at every position, and between that, and salary caps, and relatively small benches, even with 20 teams, there's more available talent in the draft and waiver wire than you'd expect. To give you just a tip of the iceberg of the financial aspect, when I say the league has "contracts", I'm not talking about just X player for X years at X salary. Each contract you sign will be an actual contract recorded in a linked spreadsheet league database, you'll select from different contract types, decide number of years, base salary, salary each year, bonus money, you'll be able to divert salary around the cap, restructure the contract midway through, extend it, option it, pause it with season ending IR, - and most of these options, usually has sub options and every all of them have pros and cons depending on the player and your own plans for him and your team. You'll have the ability to develop a deep, obsessive relationship with your fantasy team, I promise. So, like I said at the start, this is probably not for you, it's really not for most, and that's ok. We want a hundred people to pass on this so that the one guy that's really going to enjoy it will find it. Take a look at how extensive our league rules are (linked below) to get an idea of what you'd be getting into. This IS NOT a first come - first in situation. The league will consider and select from anyone that responds, but respond right away - our offseason has already begun and we're signing contracts already so we want to get you in and start getting you up to speed soon. Please email me directly at <associatedfantasy@gmail.com> I see them much more quickly than responses on this thread. AFFL League Rules AFFL Scoring Rules AFFL Contract Rules
  4. Blitz III is a new startup Best Ball Dynasty league for 2024. Superflex, Tight End Premium. This is the third dynasty best ball league I'm managing, and I have a few spots left after giving managers from my other leagues first-dibs. Everything you love about dynasty, but without lineup setting. We'll draft, trade, have waivers (FAAB system), play head-to-head, and compete in playoffs. All lineups will be automatically optimized each week. League due structure asks owners to pay a year in advance - meaning this year you would owe 2024 dues ($50) + 2025 dues ($50) and MFL fee ($6) for a total of $106. Subsequent years you'd be paying only the future year dues, so $56/year. Shoot me a message if you're interested in joining or have any questions! Details 12 Teams, 4-team playoffs In addition to head-to-head results, wins are awarded to the teams in the top half of scoring each week 1 QB, 2 RB, 2 WR, 1 TE, 1 SUPERFLEX (QB/WR/RB/TE), 3 FLEX (WR/RB/TE) 10 IR, 4 TAXI 25 player rosters in-season, 50 player rosters off-season 1/2 PPR for WR/RB, Full PPR for TE 1/4 PPC, 6 Pt Passing TDs, Fractional Scoring League hosted on MyFantasyLeague (MFL) 25-Rd Vet Startup Email Draft Starts As Soon As Filled (hopefully this weekend). Dynasty League Trade

Dynasty League in its 12th year. PPR. Relatively standard scoring. I'm strong at QB and WR. But I could use some help at RB. QB: Murray, Burrows, drafted Kenny Pickett RBs: Chubb, AJ Dillon, drafted Kenny Walker, Gainwell, J. Wilson Jr. WRs: Tyreek Hill, Justin Jefferson, Marquise Brown, Amari Cooper, DeAndre Hopkins (SUSP) The offer on the table is I give Kyler Murray and Justin Jefferson and receive Najee Harris and Cordarelle Patterson. And Allgeier is still on waivers. I have no problem losing Murray for obvious reasons but hate to lose Jefferson. Still, I'm seriously considering this. Thoughts?
  12. FILLED We have 4 openings that we are looking to fill in a long term league that started in 2012. Long term league with same commish since the start of the league. We will have a draft start as soon as possible after the 4 teams are filled and you have a chance to look over the rules. We will have 50 rounds with 5 rookies going onto the taxi squad. Those 5 players will get 5 year contracts. You will get 113 years worth of contracts to give to the remaining 45 players - you have to give each player a contract between 1 and 4 years. 13. We had an unfortunate situation in our leagues and have openings in both leagues. We have to replace a father son combinations in both leagues and another owner. A brief history of our leagues - The Insane Asylum started in 2012 and the guys in the league really enjoyed the league so by request we started The Man Cave for the 2015 season. We still have most owners having teams in both leagues. The scoring and setup of the leagues goes back to the early 2000’s. We have very little turnover on an annual basis. Experienced Commish who has run both leagues since they formed. The league fee is $60 per year. We are through the draft and auction process and some of the teams have traded all of next year's picks so we are allowing the new owner to pay $60 to cover the cost of the 2023 season and play the 2022 season for free. We start a QB, plus 5 offensive players (RB, WR and TE plus 2 flex) We start 2 DE, 1DT, 3LBers, 2CB, 2 Safeties and 1 flex plus a kicker and punter The leagues have several rules that allow you to have very good control over your roster: Contracts – after an annual auction for players whose contract expired you give out contracts that vary from 1 to 4 years for players won in the auction (2.5 years times the number of free agents won). Years ago, I played in a salary cap league where a bad owner can blow up an entire league (I took over an abandoned team that the rules made it impossible to rebuild). I have found that having contracts like this is a far better way to keep players rotating and not having one owner be able to destroy the league with bad salary decisions. Rookie draft - The rookies get a 5 year contracts plus we have a taxi squad to keep rookies until they blossom into productive players. Franchise and Transition tags - we give each owner the right to use 2 tags annually: a franchise tag (allows you to keep the player and he automatically gets a 4 year contract) and a transition tag (allows you to match the top offer for that player). We use worst to first weekly waivers which allows teams to rebuild quicker. The Man Cave - now filled The Insane Asylum - 3 open teams The league site is: https://www48.myfantasyleague.com/2022/home/30231#0 Open 12th https://www48.myfantasyleague.com/2022/options?L=30231&F=0003&O=07 Open Bed https://www48.myfantasyleague.com/2022/options?L=30231&F=0008&O=07 Open Loon https://www48.myfantasyleague.com/2022/options?L=30231&F=0012&O=07 If interested or have a question please contact me by a message on this site. 14. 3rd year for this league. $50 buyin. Pay for next year and play this year free. I have commished for over 20 years and have solid references and track record. This league is full of features and requires dedication and time to field a competitive team. Most owners in this league are long-standing and competitive and want to win. I am looking for the same type of owner to fill one opening. Devy, IDP, PPR, Salary/Contract, Relegation, RFA, Transition, Franchise, Injury settlement, Extensions, Renegotiation, Holdouts, Taxi, rookie/devy draft etc. Here are links for the home page and bylaws. The open team is the Spartans. You can reply/message here or email me at ff.commish706@gmail.com If interested, I'm sure you will not be disappointed. You need to review bylaws before reply. When looking at teams keep in mind that players who show as 1 will be zero when the league rolls so you will be cutting a majority of those players keeping one with your franchise and possibly one with transition tags. If looking at other rosters the same will apply and the majority of guys showing 1 year will be available in the auction (some teams already cut players). The Man Cave - One opening The league site is: https://www64.myfantasyleague.com/2021/home/48493#0 Open team was Chris Hogans - traded some pick so has 2.10, 4.02 and 5.02 The $60 payment goes to pay the $30 balance for 2022 league fees and $30 to pay for ½ of 2023 league fees (can trade 2023 picks) https://www64.myfantasyleague.com/2021/options?L=48493&F=0007&O=07 If interested or you have a question please reach out through this site. 21. We have 2 openings between 2 - 16 team leagues. A brief history of our leagues - The Insane Asylum started in 2012 and the guys in the league really enjoyed the league so by request we started The Man Cave for the 2015 season. We still have most owners having a team in both leagues. The scoring and setup of the leagues goes back to the early 2000’s. Experienced Commish who has run both leagues since they formed. The league fee is $60 per year and there is an option to pay $30 for the next year to trade that year’s picks. We start a QB, plus 5 offensive players (RB, WR and TE plus 2 flex) We start 2 DE, 1DT, 3LBers, 2CB, 2Safety and 1 flex plus a kicker and punter The leagues have several rules that allow you to have very good control over your roster: Contracts – after an annual auction for players whose contract expired you give out contracts that vary from 1 to 4 years for players won in the auction (2.5 years times the number of free agent won). Franchise and Transition tags - we give each owner the right to use 2 tags annually a franchise tag (allows you to keep the player and he automatically gets a 4 year contract) and a transition tag (allows you to match the top offer for that player). The $60 payment goes to pay the $30 balance for 2020 league fees and $30 to pay for ½ of 2021 league fees (can trade 2021 picks) http://www68.myfantasyleague.com/2019/o ... =0001&O=07 If interested or have a question please contact commissioner through the league homepage: Communication -> email to commissioner Or contact me by a message on this site. 24. In a dynasty auction league where you can keep all your players if they fit under a $100 salary cap before the year, would you make this trade: David Johnson ($11) for Davante Adams ($9) Start 2 RB and 3 WR Current RBs: David Johnson ($11), Aaron Jones ($6), Josh Jacobs ($18), James Conner ($4) Current WRs: OBJ ($15), JuJu Smith Shuster ($10), Allen Robinson ($9), Sterling Sheperd ($5) I have the depth at RB to trade Johnson and Adams is probably an upgrade over all my receivers, when healthy. Money wise, it would make more sense to trade Jacobs ($18) but he might be the better player as DJ can't stay healthy. Thoughts around DJ for Adams, or Jacobs for Adams? Or hold steady? This is like year 9 of the dynasty league so i have gotten these players pretty cheap before they turned out to be "studs". Most aren't playing like them this year or can't stay healthy.
