paulinstl 295 Posted April 14, 2006 Lee = Awesome game. Herad he was blown away that the Cardinal fans applauded him on his way back to the dugout after those catches. A great play is a great play. In St. Louis even opponents that make good plays get acknowledged. Awesome game by Lee!
Jeremy 0 Posted April 15, 2006 And just when I give Ohka some cred, he turns in that performance. Quite a bit better today!
donhaas 18 Posted April 18, 2006 Lee = Another dinger tonight... Easter Sunday game at Shea was great. Until the bottom of the eighth. We had a big group that included 3 mets fans, a red sox fan and a yankees fan. The rest of us had our old-school brewer gear. We got pretty drunk and rowdy, that didn't cause too much trouble until Jenkins bomb cut it to one. Than we started to get "Go back to Milwaukee " and "What the hell is Bucky?" (I had my bright red bucky shirt on.). It was a great time. Lots of Mets fans were wearing little black beanies. Sad to see them lose 2 out of 3, but I think the Mets are going to be pretty good this year.
donhaas 18 Posted April 22, 2006 Nice to win a laugher after losing a bunch of close games. 5 home runs in an inning. Bush pitched very well

BuckeyeMiniMe 0 Posted April 23, 2006 Nice to win a laugher after losing a bunch of close games. 5 home runs in an inning. Bush pitched very well When you shutout the Reds, you've done your job...just don't do it again!
BuckeyeMiniMe 0 Posted April 23, 2006 2-0 Reds in the 5th. Davis just walked his 9th batter!!! He's lucky to only be down 3-0 after a Weeks throwing error...only 2 Earned Runs charged to Davis so far. He's only given up 2 singles.
SWC 0 Posted April 24, 2006 Big series coming up against Atlanta and the Cubs. They need to pick up a win, get back at and then above .500, and get this train back on the winning track.
Thurman51 0 Posted April 24, 2006 Reds take 3 of 4. Who's going after that wildcard again? btw-that's 3 of 4 WITHOUT Ken Griffey Jr.
donhaas 18 Posted April 24, 2006 Reds take 3 of 4. Who's going after that wildcard again? btw-that's 3 of 4 WITHOUT Ken Griffey Jr. Reds will be going after that wildcard. Brewers will win the division after they get it all in sync.
Jeremy 0 Posted April 24, 2006 That little surprise start by Aaron Harang cost me wins and strikeouts (lost by 1 ) in my weekly head to head league this week. And if they had put Griffey Jr. on the DL earlier I might not have lost HRs by 1, and might have won RBI instead of tying. That along with taking the series from the Brewers has caused me to hate the Reds almost as much as the Cubs. Not really. I could never hate anyone nearly as much as I hate the Cubs. SWC 0 Posted April 26, 2006 Who's watching/listening to the Brewers tonight? Does anybody turn the sound down and listen to Uek besides me? I don't even watch the game on TV. It's me and Uke(and Jim Powell for stretches) on am620.
Jeremy 0 Posted April 27, 2006 Who's watching/listening to the Brewers tonight? Does anybody turn the sound down and listen to Uek besides me? I don't. Sutton and Schroeder and good (not quite as good as Uek of course). Besides, last I tried that, there was a delay between the radio broadcast and TV. You'd here Uek make the call on the radio, then saw it on TV about 5 seconds later. I got a broom Great starts from Sheets, Ohka, Bush and Cappy in their last games. If we could get Davis to come around and heat up those bats, we should back in business.
