GuidingLight 3 Posted April 30, 2006 Hey sweetie. Hope things have been well. Not on much lately. Yea, after a couple blowups the series had to swing. Thought it'd be a sweep though.
JT 137 Posted April 30, 2006 Pistons will undoubtedly win the series, but I've wondered when their seeming lack of interest would catch up with them. This makes Game 4 much more interesting. As the old adage goes, it's not a series until somebody wins on the road. The Hamilton injury, along with R. Wallace's apparent allergy to the lane, makes things interesting. When Rip isn't moving well, and Rasheed is anchored to the 3 pt line, the offense really stagnates. Milwaukee did a good job by attacking the big guys early, then going small once the Wallaces went to the bench. McDyess and Prince are tall, but their effectiveness comes from their ability to create mismatches with the #2 & 3. When they're forced to play big and rebound, they're exposed. Now the Bucks need to close out strong, and keep an emotional edge going into the next game. If a young team like this lets Detroit come back the way the Pacers did earlier today, it could really hurt their confidence.

CantTouchThis 23 Posted April 30, 2006 OUCH!!!! Is all i have to say, Milwaukee simply flat out kick ass tonight. MIL is very capable of getting SUPER hot from the field, as they did vs. several top teams in the regular season(The Suns or Spurs game comes to mind). Redd was absolutely unstopable, and the whole team was blistering from the field. They shot an incredible 60 freakin percent from the field against the Pistons in the playoffs, which i am sure has never been done vs. this group. Plus, 70%+ after the first, which is like insanity. Obviously, the Pistons have to really get serious, when a team like MIL gains confidence, they can really take it to you as they showed in this game. The biggest task Monday is to take their confidence away early, do this, and they will win in 5. Pistons are a very smart club and ususally bounces back from bad losses, it will be tough on the road, but, think they will tough out a win Monday, and finish up in 5 in Auburn Hills. One thing is fer DAMN sure, Milwaukee will NOT shoot 60% again in this series.

Voltaire 5,511 Posted April 30, 2006 Ben picked up two quick fouls. As soon as he hit the bench was when the sh*t hit the fan. The Pistons aren't in trouble or anything. I want to also say props to Milwaukee for playing so well. Pistons have got to stay hungry, but the Bucks have made it hard to get up for the challenge. CantTouchThis 23 Posted April 30, 2006 Yeah, i also read somewhere(only caught 2nd half) that Ben. Rip, and Tay combined for something like 17 points, 7 rebounds, and shot like 5 of 19....obviously the Pistons won't win vs. anyone when those 3 players are playing so poorly. Chauncey should be doing better, IMO, he had a great game last game, but, all the games should be like that. He has a guy who is like 4 feet tall guarding him, take it in the post all day long.
