dirtyd12 0 Posted April 30, 2006 I just would like to say that I was very very impressed and happy with the coverage of the NFL network. I found myself watching the NFL network more than espn.

Thin Spirit 0 Posted April 30, 2006 NFL Network in a land slide. I didn't even turn ESPN on once.
BattyRidas 0 Posted April 30, 2006 The ESPN coverage was terrible. The NFL network had all the interviews and video footage.
Ilov80s 0 Posted April 30, 2006 Well you guys missed out big time! ESPN had these awesome segments where there was an announcer wearing eyeliner introducing guys like Huff, Cutler, and Bush. The guys were dressed all crazy on a runway like they were modeling war gear. It was so awesome. I thought Leinhart was the best QB in the draft, but after seeing Vince Young make an old-fashioned gas mask look trendy- I have totally changed my opinion. Vikings4ever 550 Posted April 30, 2006 I liked NFL's coverage better, but I disliked their pick annoucements in the later rounds. ESPN would ding, and flash the pick. NFL's seemed a little bit behind, and would just scroll it a couple times.
XToday 0 Posted April 30, 2006 If ESPN didn't have crackboy, err... Michael Irvin... I'd probably watch them more.
bgard72 10 Posted April 30, 2006 No question...NFL Network had better draft coverage in my opinion.
t.j 35 Posted April 30, 2006 I was a little disappointed in the NFL Network coverage in that I expected it to be far superior to ESPN and I didn't think it was. Only a little bit better, mostly because ESPN had Tom Jackasson and NFL Network didn't. That said, I switched between the two, most of the time when one went to the commercial, the other was still going, which was pretty sweet (never seems to work out that way on gameday)! titan20 0 Posted May 1, 2006 That was michael huff in the gas mask, and Matt leinart looked like he was trying to be in the matrix
murf74 461 Posted May 1, 2006 Mayok and Chavos were awesome. My only complaint with NFL network was that you couldn't look at the screen and see who's pick it was or a countdown timer. And the crawl wasn't very good. I liked the coverage of NFL Network better, but the do-dads of ESPN were better. Like actaully showing picks as they happened on the bottom of the screen. I switched between the 2 during commercials. I really hate Irvin and Jackson and Suzy so it was hard to stomach them for too long at a time.
