Roy (1st round) Rogers (1st round) Williams (1st round).......high 1st rounders..... last year---2.4 rec. per game, 34.2 ypg, 0.28 TDs per game between the 3 (1st rounders) Driver (7th round) Chatman (not drafted) Ferg (2nd round) last year---3.8 rec. per game, 50 ypg, 0.28 TDs per game between the 3 In conclusion.....I dont think it is way off base to say our 3 WRs we drafted in the mid rounds this year do not have a good chance of being better than your 3 awsome 1st rounders......ROY is decent....im talking about as a whole tho which you seem to have a hard time getting through your retarded head.... a 7th rounder and a non drafted average kick returner who had to play as a result of default....out performed almost all 3 of those awsome 1st rounders.....pretty sad if you ask me if I was a Lions fan knowing that would make me want to shoot myself.... The O had been in place for a number of years. He had future HOF's outside of him on BOTH sides. He had Pro Bowl caliber QB's (at least in that system). A very good O line to protect the QB. Now, he is older, coming off injuries, unproven or bust WR's on either side of him (he is a slot guy). He has faltered (that's a nice way of saying that) since he left STL. He was out of football last year. Why would anyone but Millen even consider him? No one of the 31 other GM's wants him. You are rational when discussing anything outside of the NFLN. Why the irrationality inside? Bury the hate and realize that Millen can not run an NFL franchise as well as you or I could. And, that is a sad statement. I really wish it were otherwise.
