GobbleDog 816 Posted May 9, 2006 How can they even offer odds on George W Bush or Arnold Schwartzenager? Neither of them are eligable to run.
GutterBoy 2,281 Posted May 9, 2006 Are these odds that they win the election, or just that they run? What a load of sh!t. Hillary is 3-1 yet Jeb Bush 35-1? Is this win or run motherfocker?
Patriotsfatboy1 1,432 Posted May 9, 2006 How can they even offer odds on George W Bush or Arnold Schwartzenager? Neither of them are eligable to run. Well, according to the 22nd Amendment, you have to put Bill Clinton in there as well.
GobbleDog 816 Posted May 9, 2006 Well, according to the 22nd Amendment, you have to put Bill Clinton in there as well. The Amendment allows 2 term presidents to run for a 3rd term? Or foreigners to run? I hadn't heard of that.

Patriotsfatboy1 1,432 Posted May 9, 2006 The Amendment allows 2 term presidents to run for a 3rd term? Or foreigners to run? I hadn't heard of that. No, it excludes people who have already served 2 terms. GWB and Bill Clinton are not eligible due to the 22nd amendment. Arnold is not eligible under Article II he's saying Bill Clinton can't run, stupid. Yeah, that too.
GobbleDog 816 Posted May 9, 2006 he's saying Bill Clinton can't run, stupid. ok, I'm a bit slow. You got me. But the question stands... what's the bloody point in offering names that aren't even possible? That doesn't seem right.

You're right, this is the dumbest thread ever, I'm guessing his t-cell count is getting pretty low these days.
Team Revell 0 Posted May 9, 2006 Those odds came straight from sportsbook. Either they are factoring in the odds of a constitutional amendment, or they think really dumb people will bet on them not knowing they are ineligible.
Sho Nuff 719 Posted May 9, 2006 ok, I'm a bit slow. You got me. But the question stands... what's the bloody point in offering names that aren't even possible? That doesn't seem right. Then don't bet on them.
