DBZFan2K 0 Posted June 19, 2006 He's D-freaking-man! I'll say this, I'm definitely rooting for Miami to take it, but even if Dallas comes back to take it, this has been the most exciting NBA Finals since the epic Chicago/Phoenix series of '93.

This whole playoff season has been outstanding. I can't remember such an exciting NBA playoff season. It's been quite a ride! I think it'll be like this for awhile now with so many teams closely matched--- at least I really hope so!

Everybody I've talked to about the playoffs have said the same thing. It's been an amazing stretch of basketball.

BuckeyeMiniMe 0 Posted June 19, 2006 Shew...whee! I'm sure the reporters were looking for some fans when he came out! lol. Ikes! Time to take a shower coach! It is SO hot down here and when you add 15,000 people to AA Arena, the A/C tends to give out! I remember when the Florida Panthers were in the NHL Finals in the old Miami Arena and they had to pump in huge A/C hoses to keep the ice from melting! Hockey in June; WTF?!?!? Plus it going so late, I'm sure on top of the heat the fans are fighting the sleepies as well. Heat alone makes me sleepy................
BMoney 0 Posted June 19, 2006 im happy for wade and the heat...but honestly... where did he get fouled with 2.9 to go?...i thought it was just an out of control shot that was missed... when i see harris vs wade..i think wisc vs marquette..too bad marquette didnt have 2 other decent players..they may have pulled the whole deal off that year... nobody 2,883 Posted June 19, 2006 I can't believe Dallas lost a game where they dominated the rebounding like that. I guess since Miami didn't have the usual 20 turnovers thanks to Walker getting limited minutes they didn't need to hit the boards Also, I think it should be noted that Dallas has outplayed Miami 4 out the 5 games in this series in case anyone was thinking that it was a forgone conclusion that Miami is going to win the title. Johnny Ringo 0 Posted June 19, 2006 Chris Webber just called Josh Howard and told him not to worry about the timeout call. Things like that could happen to anyone, he said. Somebody please explain the "Hack A Shaq" strategy by Avery in the opening minutes of overtime. They were team fouls number 1 and 2, so no Shaq at the free throw line, and if your goal was simply to have them take the ball out of bounds and set up your zone, why not just set up your zone immediately after the made basket on the other end. Didn't see the post game interviews. Did anyone ask him about that?? I'm puzzled.

GettnHuge 2 Posted June 19, 2006 final score 49-25 fix
nobody 2,883 Posted June 19, 2006 final score 49-25 fix when one team is fouling a player on purpose everytime he touches the ball and sometimes when he's not touching the ball, there's going to be a free throw disparity. Chris Webber just called Josh Howard and told him not to worry about the timeout call. Things like that could happen to anyone, he said. Didn't see the post game interviews. Did anyone ask him about that?? I'm puzzled. The only thing I can think of is that maybe they were positioning themselves to employ the Hack-a-Shaq if needed. I don't think it had anything to do with setting up the zone like Hubie was sayng. It's still stupid though. Becasue then ever foul is two shots.
