J5 0 Posted July 26, 2006 I was suppose to give 11. Pencil Holt in right under Johnson on my list. I am surprised that a few have Wayne/Harrison and Fitz/Boldin in the top 11. That's alot to ask of two wr's. I think Edge is going to steal someone's numbers. Although I have to admit that those 4 wr's are all very good.

And I think Fitz and Boldin both will not make top 5 this year, but will give you the stats you need. Because of the absence of Edge, the playaction by the Colts will not be as effective, therefore, Dallas Clark gets a LOT less looks, the WRs will need to step up. Cuse9 131 Posted July 26, 2006 1--Torry Holt...Mr. Consistancy....needs more TD's to merit my ranking. 2--Chad Johnson...nobody is more fun to watch. 3--Steve Smith...can't possibly to as good as last year...can he? 4--Anquan Boldin...put up same stats as Fitz in three less games. 5--Randy Moss...big rebound year, will be back to elite status 6--Reggie Wayne..will this be the year he is finally the #1 target in Indy? 7--Marvin Harrison...little concerned on age and injury going into year 8--Larry Fitzgerald...great wr in all aspect. 9--Terrell Owens...attitude keeps him from being #1 10-Santana Moss...don't know how Saunders will benefit him?? 11-Donald Driver...Favres favorite....check that...only target. HM: Hines Ward (best overall wr in the "real life" game, but not fantasy)
GoBeavers 0 Posted July 26, 2006 1. S. Smith 2. C. Johnson 3. T. Holt 4. R. Moss 5. T. Owens 6. M. Harrison 7. C. Chambers 8. L. Fitzgerald 9. D. Jackson 10. H. Ward 11. P. Burress Love Larry Fitz, think he's one of the top receivers in the game but with Boldin on the other side and Edge coming out of the backfield I'm concerned about how the TDs are going to be spread around. And yeah, Plaxico is a homer choice but he just might put up top-10 numbers this year.

pee-diddy 27 Posted July 26, 2006 I keep seeing D-Jax in the mix... isn't he like the WR equivalent to RB Dom. Davis or Ahman Green? Without the injury probs. I see him as top 11 or very near there... but WITH the injury probs. all I see is "stay away!" signs. Just my $0.

He just had knee surgery in March and is still ranked around the #10-12 spot in most projections that I've seen. FFT P/R has him ranked at 10 with 1145 yards and 8 TDs. Coming off a season of which he missed ten games, he seems like a high-risk pick. And back to the topic Moss S Smith Harrison Roy Holt Fitz Chambers CJ TO AJ Glenn

As a JJ believer, this would be the best thing that could happen to him (as would have plenty of room to run if Barber remains on the sideline).

shake_a_leg 0 Posted July 27, 2006 Personally I'd rather keep my top 11 than "give them" to you. But alas... CJohnson -- I just like the guy. SSmith -- was big last year, probably won't be as big this year but still... THolt -- 1500 yds this year. Is there a safer bet? Let me know. LFitz -- Could be Boldin. Look at the numbers RMoss -- will benefit from Brooks' arm and Jordans legs Marvin -- Manning might throw the ball even MORE this year if that's possible TO -- After his "Bledsoe ain't gettin me the ball" rant in week 6, Parcells will strangle him Chambers -- Dolphins are one big upside this year. Boldin -- Could be Fitz. I actually don't know why he's considered #2 on this offense??? RWayne -- He will get more looks from more passes this year SanMoss -- Speed, durability, weapons all over that offense. They all bring him up, but knock him down a bit too. As a JJ believer, this would be the best thing that could happen to him (as would have plenty of room to run if Barber remains on the sideline). TE is not required in our league. I have not done a QB ranking or anything but with the talent around him why not #6.
