strangebrew 0 Posted September 12, 2006 pennington, l.coles are available and i have bids on them now, but i'm almost certain they will be gone by the time i get to go off waivers. i would be dropping wali lundy for any pick-up. here are the other options out there: b.jacobs (to hand-cuff tiki) d.bennett, reggie williams, j.norwood and a.bryant. here is my team mcnabb/brady tiki/lamont/gore/a.green/w.lundy s.moss/d.driver/r.smith gates/cooley we start 1qb/2rb/2wr and a te i kind of want jacobs for the handcuff, norwood for the potential, but my real weakness appears to be wr, so bennett, williams and bryant all grab my attention. what do i do? do i drop lundy at all? if so, for who? thanks! will answer yours, just leave a link. Fearsome 22 Posted September 12, 2006 I like Jacobs for his goal line ability but Lundy is the starter. I don't think you should ever dump a starter for a back-up...ever! I would stay pat. My league is the Strange Brew FFL! We play in the Bob and Doug Divisions and the championship is the Hosehead Bowl. The winner gets the Elsinore Beer Cup...Beauty Eh! http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=231872 http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=231870
DaBears34 0 Posted September 13, 2006 I'd consider dropping Cooley as well. You will only start him on Gates' bye week. My RBs are very similar to yours and I just picked up Pennington and Jacobs, and dropped Clark and Gabriel. Jacobs is more valuable to you than any other owner, but I'm not sure I'd drop a starting RB for him either but Cooley is an option you should consider. http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=231881

quincyxg 0 Posted September 13, 2006 you need wr help. your rbs are strong. grab bennett, he will get a lot of balls thrown his way. my second choice would be jacobs. http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=231925
J5 0 Posted September 13, 2006 Drop Cooley and hope you get Coles. If not Jacobs is a very solid option so is Bryant. http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...p;#entry2685525
beef and sausage combo 0 Posted September 13, 2006 i'd take bryant. he'll do fine in SF. http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=231926
lanastussy 0 Posted September 13, 2006 I think you need WR help as you have many RB options on your roster already. I would consider picking up Bryant or Williams, but I wouldn't drop Lundy. He is a starter and I think he has great potential. I would consider dropping cooley and picking up a tight end later in the year when gates in on bye. c_Weezie 3 Posted September 13, 2006 I would drop Cooley, and take Coles if possible. If not, take Jacobs. Thanks for responding to mine.
nobody 2,690 Posted September 13, 2006 I think Jacobs is overrated. Drop Cooley and pick up Bryant.
