whoisjgalt 0 Posted June 17, 2004 I decided to grab a kicker who's not most of the way from 30 to 40. Mike seems to have lots of confidence in him this year. If anything, the development of Grossman should help the Bears at least get closer to FG range than they have the last few years. - it's just a kicker. windycityguy 1 Posted June 17, 2004 Edinger was a great pick. I thought about taking him or Josh Brown. Edinger is young has been solid for several years. Has a huge contract in Chicago. And the Bears will either continue to never get in the endzone and go for 3. Or they will implement a very high scoring offense. He should have been drafted long ago. whoisjgalt 0 Posted June 17, 2004 Wilzone's going to be P-I-S-S-E-D at windy.
Wilzone 0 Posted June 17, 2004 Wilzone's going to be P-I-S-S-E-D at windy. I was hoping to draft myself but I think I'm a bit of a reach at this point in the draft.

I don't think I've ever seen such an in-depth analysis of a kicker. Â Also, "he should have been drafted long ago"? He's a focking kicker!
Farmer Bernie 0 Posted June 17, 2004 did we really just dedicated the first 3 replies to this thread to applauding the frafting of a kicker in the 17th focking round???
Orgazmo 2 Posted June 17, 2004 did we really just dedicated the first 3 replies to this thread to applauding the frafting of a kicker in the 17th focking round??? I was ragging about Stevens.
Wilzone 0 Posted June 17, 2004 I was ragging about Stevens. did we really just dedicated the first reply to this thread to applauding the frafting of a crappy TE in the 16th focking round???
windycityguy 1 Posted June 17, 2004 Ok not long ago. But I think he should have been one of the top 5 drafted. Â I have time to let Wilson sit so I thought he was good value here even if he is my #3 TE. I was looking at a couple of QBs but like Wilson.
OB1 33 Posted June 17, 2004 the Bears will either continue to never get in the endzone and go for 3. Or they will implement a very high scoring offense. So the Bears will either score a lot of TDs or they won't, and either way that makes Edinger different than every other kicker out there?  That makes sense, I guess. whoisjgalt 0 Posted June 17, 2004 I was ragging about Stevens. did we really just dedicated the first reply to this thread to applauding the frafting of a crappy TE in the 16th focking round??? If Mili holds out like he says he will, then Stevens in that offense is a good option. If not, then little was wasted.
Wilzone 0 Posted June 17, 2004 Jed Weaver is taken!!

OB1 33 Posted June 17, 2004 With Sharpe retiring, someone has to play te in Denver.. Which is why he was already frafted!!! HTH!! TIA!!!
Wilzone 0 Posted June 17, 2004 I am not seriously ragging on anyone's picks here. I'm just having some fun while I wait out the last few minutes of my day before I can go home.
OB1 33 Posted June 17, 2004 Jed Weaver is taken!! Did you ever in your life think you would need to utter these words in a fantasy draft?

whoisjgalt 0 Posted June 18, 2004 BNF update:  Sorry guys...I just moved into my new place tonight and will not have internet access until tomorrow. All the WRs I had on my existing list are gone. I need to do some digging to find out who is left. I will pick as soon as possible tomorrow. Sorry for the holdup. Orgazmo 2 Posted June 18, 2004 BNF is a trooper. He emailed his pick. Â A smoove choice at that, with Stallworth's injuries and Henderson dropping half his passes in minicamp.
Orgazmo 2 Posted June 18, 2004 Emilaed hoo. I'm hoping to get a small list rather than one player.
OB1 33 Posted June 18, 2004 In line with some recently shared philosophy. Take a talented guy in a bad situation rather than a chump in a less bad situation. It's not likely Shaub will see the field anytime soon, but in a few years he might turn up as a nice sleeper.
Wilzone 0 Posted June 18, 2004 I'm going to PM a short list to OB1 and whoisgalt since I'm tired of waiting around for my pick.
