jmueller44 0 Posted September 19, 2006 My picks Baltimore -6.5 clevelands offense and defense sucks and Baltimores Defense is maybe the best. I know its away, but I still like it Philly -6 overall better team I really only like Atlanta -3 over New Orleans The only problem is this could be a trap game - the NFL wants NO to win this game - basically to get NO and back on the football map. Welcome back NOLA. So we'll see if I can lay on this one. I also like Balt -6.5, but they might only score 9-12 pts, being that they have a tough time finding the endzone. That could be enough though - CLE may not put anything on the board Vs the tough BAL def. In an anti-homer pick, I like the CHI Bears -3 over MN Vikes. The Bears are real good, the Vikes are barely mediocre.

Yer mom 2 Posted September 19, 2006 So far I LOVE the Bears -3. Minnesota probably would have lost to Carolina if Gamble dosent gamble with the throwback with a 7 point lead late in the game?!?! The Bears with last weeks offensive showing against a decent Detroit D might be the best team in football right now. I will take them at -3 whenever the opportunity presents itself. The bottom line is their offense would have to lay an egg to not cover, i think they should be ok.
jmueller44 0 Posted September 19, 2006 already jumped on the 2 speads I see moving soon. ATL (3 units) and CHI (2 units) Also put 2 units on BAL, but grabbed an extra 2 pts to make the spread -4.

Diesel07 0 Posted September 20, 2006 Hammer it now Balt -6.5 Cleveland doesnt really have much of an offense and they are going to be playing against one of the best defenses in the NFL. Balt looks alot better this year & McNair has been playing well. I think Balt's improvement on offense and superior defense will be too much for the brownies. PackYourNut 47 Posted September 22, 2006 If you want to make it easy, just bet EVERY underdog this week... I honestly believe the dogs will go 10-4 this week... The only favorites I would even consider are: Phili, Balt, Chi And I will probably only bet Phili because they have to be PISSED and will most likely run the score up in the 2nd half. Parja 0 Posted September 23, 2006 GB at Detroit - O/U 38 As inept as Detroit is on offense and how much of a sieve GBs O-line is compared to Detroits fairly stout D-line, I can't conceive how this game could possibly go over 38.

GiantsRule 0 Posted September 24, 2006 Only bet for tomorrow (so far) is a three-team parlay: 1. Football - Cincinnati Bengals/Pittsburgh Steelers - total Over 43 (-115) for the entire game held on Sep 24 at 12:00pm [pending] 2. Football - Tennessee Titans/Miami Dolphins - total Over 35 (-120) for the entire game held on Sep 24 at 12:00pm [pending] 3. Football - Chicago Bears/Minnesota Vikings - total Over 35 (-110) for the entire game held on Sep 24 at 12:00pm [pending] Added: Matt Hasselbeck Over 18.5 completions (-120) Brett Favre Over 22.5 completions (-110) Nothing else looks all that good to me. Might not add too many unless Ditka has a play that looks too good to pass up (and if that play is Seattle, I can't take it anyway...for obvious reasons). The only favorites I would even consider are: Phili, Balt, Chi And I will probably only bet Phili because they have to be PISSED and will most likely run the score up in the 2nd half. Just additional sidenotes by my own record keeping is that last week the dogs only went 5-11. But if you go back to week 1 the dogs went 11-5 against the spread. Combining the two weeks the dogs went 16-16 for the season so far.
GridIronAssassin#1 0 Posted September 24, 2006 YTD 2-5(all games one unit) Noon games: Jets +5.5 (I think the Jets defense should contain the the Bills offense keeping the game close.) Steelers -1(at home and will show once again why they are the better team) Jaguars +6.5 ( Jag defense is tough and should stop Indy running game. Jag wideouts out size Indy corners.) Miami -10.5 ( Culpepper connected once with Chambers and it should continue. Miami defense should hold.) Redskins -4 (I look for Portis to have a nice return here against a team in transition.) Bears -3.5 ( Chicago's offense looks better with Grossman now. Bears defense still looks good.) Panthers-3 (The return of Steve Smith should help. Panther defense should control Tampa Bay quarterback.) Lions -7 ( Packers are worse in all phases of the game. Packer fans already long for the days of Sherman.) Myopicone 0 Posted September 24, 2006 Although I do not post regularly on the board, I do enjoy the information that is given, and thought I might post some interesting trends for this weeks games: NYJ(+6) The bills are 2-15 ATS after playing the dolphins the previous week....take the Jets CIN(+1.5) The home team in the CIN/PIT series is 1-7 ATS last eight....take the bengals MIA(-10.5) TEN is 2-9 ATS as road dogs last 11....lay the lumber BAL(-6) CLE is 1-7 against the division as dogs of less than 7...BAL is easy pick SEA(-4) NYG are 1-6 ATS the week before they play the Redskins...SEA here SF(+6) SF is 8-2 ATS at home after a division game..kind of an out on the limb pick, but take SF plus the points. I know most of these seem like obvious picks, but I like going with trends, and I thought this information might justify why they seemed like obvious picks. Good luck eeryone . And by the way, I am putting my money where my mouth is, as every one of the above choices are for 2 units.
