ThatDude 12 Posted September 25, 2006 Get ready to pick him up if your desperate... Do you really think a rookie is going to come in and light it up? Even with the WR's Arizona has you cant expect him to do more than adverage his rookie year. If you want to compare him to Roth that's fine but Roth didnt put up good FF numbers. Chiefs04 0 Posted September 25, 2006 did i miss something, is warner hurt? i havent even checked the status of the arz/stl game... off to go looking for info... No but he sucks monkey nuts and fumbled the game away...not to mention about 20 bad decisions earlier..Cardinals should have won this. A guy in my league, Cards fan, drafted Leinhart. Said he would be starting by week 6 or 7. He may just wind up looking pretty smart
edjr 6,580 Posted September 25, 2006 I traded Warner and Fitz for Dunn and R. Moss last week and people laughed. We'll see who gets the last laugh.
BMoney 0 Posted September 25, 2006 i drafted leinart AND frye!!! then again...its in the homer league and my teams are az-cle... **but seriously though..loss aside...frye looks like hes making good progress...he played very well vs a tough ravens d...and he has more rushing tds than that stiff, ronnie brown **

roroco 75 Posted September 25, 2006 Just beware guys... I heard Brenda Warner will personally come to the home of everyone that drops Kurt and beat them senseless with her fork tounge while tap-teasing her mullet.... Just be warned...
ggroovy17 0 Posted September 25, 2006 Leinart is NFL ready with his 4 years in a championship environment at USC, could the Cardinals offense be worse with him in there? I think it would actually be improved because he is not known to make alot of mistakes.
swirvenirvin 25 Posted September 25, 2006 Got him in 3 leagues

ggroovy17 0 Posted September 25, 2006 Um. Nope. Not even close. And you base this on what? IMO, the Cardinals would be better with him in there and you will probably see it happen by mid-season.

Yer mom 2 Posted September 25, 2006 Leinart is NFL ready with his 4 years in a championship environment at USC, could the Cardinals offense be worse with him in there? I think it would actually be improved because he is not known to make alot of mistakes. Extremely accurate. There will always be some exceptions for certian players and Leinart is one of them. IF he had weak surrounding cast in AZ he may be in some trouble, but I will say with confidence that when he fills in, he will be productive. He will not do any worse than ANY NFL QB that had that weak ass offensive line, but the playmaker positions will help him do good for obvious reasons, and the fact he limits mistakes will help. I think alot of people dont really know how good this guy is. Save the "but he had Reggie Bush at USC and played in the PAC 10 rebuttal" Leinart has more football smarts than many starting NFL quarterbacks period!! His ablilty to make adjustments and throw accurate passes will be Brady like (Discount Bradys performance tonight) once he gets his chance. He will face good D's in the NFL and when he does, people will says "he sucks!!" Thats bound to happen (i.e. see Brady tonight) bottom line, it may actually improve the AZ offense. I have Warner on 2 teams behind McNabb and hope he hangs in there, but I obviously got a bit excited because of the weapons at his disposal. Besides that, I saw a SI shoot with him and Jessica Simpsons x-husband, Simpsons husband was wearing Leinarts USC jersey for the shoot.......f@gs
De Novo 0 Posted September 25, 2006 Rookie QBs = Bad fantasy options All you Young, Cutler, Leinart homers give it up. Vince Young and Jay Cutler are COMPLETELY different than Matt Leinart. Young is an option QB. Cutler was a workout wonder who shot up draft boards late. Leinart won a national championship and a Heisman. Big difference, guys. kodybearcourt 0 Posted September 28, 2006 I posted this orginal thread in the 4th quarter of the Rams/Cardinals game on Sunday. Then sure enough the rumors started on Monday about Leinart starting. Warner always cooks his own goose. Case in point-- Leinart should be on your bench because he will be starting soon and will be a nice sleeper pick up.
