phillybear 366 Posted September 30, 2006 Philly do you do much pro? There is no talk on the thread. I post in those threads, but I play more conservatively in the NFL nowadays. It's tough times for dog bettors on the NFL the last 3 years. I usually don't look at the NFL until Sunday morning. Meanwhile, I am really feeling the alcohol at this point. I better pace myself so I can track the night games. Also, Florida TD. About focking time.

phillybear 366 Posted September 30, 2006 FLA TD Fla TD TD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Florida. They could cover the game. 28-13. Come on, you suck ass defense. Also, San Jose St is up 14-0. Maybe the tide is turning for the day.
new-guru 0 Posted September 30, 2006 they didin't cover for my line of 15 that was no fumble there was alot of bullshit in that game 2nd half cover sure helped Lets go san jose
ROCKET 0 Posted September 30, 2006 My book had Bama +15.5 so I might get lucky on that one. The rest of my day has sucked, 4-7 if Bama holds on . Taking Iowa,Michigan, Kansas, K St and Vandy over 43.5. I should just call it a night as I have a bad feeling my beating is going to continue. Hopefully the NFL will bail me out once again tomorrow. College has been rough so far and the NFL has saved me. Most years it's the opposite.

phillybear 366 Posted September 30, 2006 San Jose St barely hanging on 14-10 with seconds to go in the first half. They might cover that 1st H bet. San Jose St covers the first half. I got to regroup with the Sun Belt teams on these 2nd half lines.

phillybear 366 Posted September 30, 2006 I am searching for 2nd H plays. Flor Int 2nd H (-6) for 3 units. They have lost 4 games by 11 total points. Why not another close game? you like san jose some more for + 2 I would agree with that, but I am just riding out my original bet. Good luck.
phillybear 366 Posted September 30, 2006 Adding New Mex St 1st H (+9.5) for 3 units. No defense in this game. I am hoping for the ultimate shoot out.
GiantsRule 0 Posted October 1, 2006 What do you guys think about Fresno State -3.5 (1st quarter)? I'm thinking of adding that or philly's New Mexico play (philly, isn't that the NM team that you said had no offense to compete with Missouri which screwed us out of a cover late in the game?)
GiantsRule 0 Posted October 1, 2006 Central Michigan +9 bettors: Not sure if you can follow real-time stats but I'm actually bothering to watch and listen to the game on Yahoo! After falling behind 21-0 and then 28-7, Central Michigan just scored a TD to tighten the gap to 38-36. They missed the 2-point conversion with 6:58 left so a TD & PAT by Kentucky will push us. Worse, they got a penalty before the attempt but still chose to go for two (a PAT would have put us in a good spot).

GiantsRule 0 Posted October 1, 2006 Kentucky takes over on downs. Now we risk going from a push to a loss! 1:12 left, Kentucky on the CMU 40, took 1st timeout. 1:04 left, Kentucky on the CMU 37, took 2nd timeout. 4th & 8, taking the 5-yard penalty...CMU not calling a timeout, but Kentucky did with 22 seconds left. GAME OVER. CMU never even got the ball. I guess it's a bittersweet push, but at least it's not a loss.

Hurricane Ditka 0 Posted October 1, 2006 OK, Ditka: I guess this is where gambling boys become men. It's been a great run the last few weeks. If it can keep up with a card like this, the wife is going to get one hell of a 30th birthday/1st wedding anniversary present! If not, well, doesn't every girl love a bouquet of posies and a Twinkie with a candle in it? Pretty much took your entire slate with a few moderations. I've recently added a few new outs*, so I'll note where I got the lines. Keep in mind: Sportingbetusa.com is an offshoot of Sportsbook.com (same interface, odds, even casino) and as such, Friday is half juice day on most sides. Duke +6 (-115), Sportingbetusa Navy ML (+115), Olympic Georgia tech +10 (-105) BoDog Oregon +2 (-120), Dimelinesports Central Michigan +9, Olympic Iowa +7.5, BoDog USC/WSU Over 49, Olympic Washington State +17 (-105), Sportingbetusa Nevada -3 (-115), Sportingbetusa Washington +4 (-115), Sportingbetusa Washington ML (+145), Sportingbetusa Also took a "reverse parlay" (parlay of the opposites) and a standard parlay, just in case Ditka achieves red hot perfection! Pretty amazing how little you have to risk on the big reverses ($1 pays more than $650!!!) Best of luck as always boys! Let's make it another killer weekend! *--If anybody is interested in signing up for any of these books, feel free to email me at BTC316@hotmail.com for bonus and referral information! Looks like your heading towards a profit on these games GR! Your welcome I guess, you should send me a dollar. I am in the downtown Hilton in Portland, OR. Heading down to the bar to watch the UCLA game. This week is scary! Most weeks I go into with the attitude "just beat the juice". But I really like some games this week. Lots of them too. GiantsRule 0 Posted October 1, 2006 Ditka, what else can I say? You're unbelievable. I wish there was a way to somehow reward you for the money you've made me. If I had balls to bet real money, I'd be cleaning up right now in college, all because of you. All I'm doing is pouring some timely in-game "gravy" on top! As good as today is shaping up (pending Nevada, Wash, & Wash ML), it could have been so much better with my three-team over parlay in the early games. Pitt vs. Toledo was at 48 with a quarter to go, and Tennessee & Memphis started piling on the scores late in the game to get me the 45 points. LSU was just three points away when the game was delayed. I was in Best Buy returning an item and jumped for joy when I saw Memphis return an LSU pick for a touchdown. However, instead of circling my handy sheet for the "win", I doublechecked my sheet and saw that Pitt-Toledo was at 50. "No problem I thought. Even if I just get a safety, I can push and win a 2-teamer." So I checked the Pittsburgh score: Pittsburgh 45 - Toledo 3. A scoreless 4th quarter! My heart sunk. I couldn't believe I broke one my own cardinal laws of gambling "Don't assume anything until you check all the particulars & the final scores". By no means will today be a disaster because of that, but it could have been SO much sweeter and given me an extra push to bet a little higher tomorrow. Here's hoping Nevada & Washington pull it off for another amazing chapter in the Hurricane Ditka story. For the record, I'm leaning towards Saints +7.5 (-120) and Indy-NYJ Over 46 (-120). I already locked in a BoDog prop (Maurice Morris to have over 66 yards rushing (+180); line has since dropped). Looking forward to your plays and good luck with whatever you decide to do!
