I knew you figured it out one way or another since the pick had been made. I didn't get any of those mails, so I was in the dark. Did you get my PM, will you be around? I don't want to run off while i'm holding lists (again).

Mark Buffington 3 Posted June 23, 2004 Gimme a little bit. There were some other guys I was thinking about besides Wilford, but It turns ouit they're all gone.
grandpahoo 9 Posted June 23, 2004 1. I'm glad everyone was sooooooooo worried about grandpahoosabouttosnap. 2. Odds we finish by Friday? Sistah's wedding is this weekend....
Orgazmo 2 Posted June 23, 2004 Buffington just drafted one of your players, too Hoo.
grandpahoo 9 Posted June 23, 2004 Isn't this the second playa on my roster that other people have tried to draft? Either people really like my guys, or I drafted these focktards waaaay too early.
The Unknown Soldier 0 Posted June 23, 2004 ICEMAN, after you pick again...can you track down wherever it is TUS lives in the New England area and kill him for me? Thanks. Wilson? I hoped he'd "fall" to me. I think I saw his only good game last year because I remember his as a real quick guy that could break some long ones if/when he gets a shot (and if he has a qb to throw it to him). Anderson? I almost passed on him, but who knows wtf Shanahan will do if someone struggles. At least Mike could be productive if he gets a starting role somewhere... OB1 33 Posted June 24, 2004 Boerigter is a great 22nd round flyer. Two years ago the guy scored 9 TDs, and the WRs ahead of him haven't really improved all that much. I really wanted mighty Joe, so I took him, but I was hoping Boerigter would fly under the radar until the 23rd.

whoisjgalt 0 Posted June 24, 2004 and the WRs ahead of him haven't really improved all that much ...all the more reason why Twitchy's laughing at the pick of Gonzo was misplaced.
Mark Buffington 3 Posted June 24, 2004 In my search for a viable young WR, I was scanning the depth charts. I made a short list, but forgot Watts was taken. After that it was a no brainer. I was praised LAST year for getting Bo late (12th?) and was very happy about getting him, but he turned out to be the SUCK! At this point, its all about pissing off Hoo! Scooby 0 Posted June 24, 2004 Was Wilford on everyone list. Dang...
Wilzone 0 Posted June 24, 2004 Was Wilford on everyone list. Dang... I've heard the main reason that teams skipped over Wilford was his slow 40 time. He's 6-4, 223, he's got great hands and there's some talk that he may end up moving over to TE, which could be huge.
Scooby 0 Posted June 24, 2004 I took a flyer with Osgood, someone has to cath the ball in san diego
Orgazmo 2 Posted June 24, 2004 I took a flyer with Osgood, someone has to cath the bakk in san diego If bakk is something you get from bad sushi, you made a helluva pick!@#
whoisjgalt 0 Posted June 24, 2004 Okay - I guess I'll add some comments. Hambrick is just a late round flyer on a guy who could emerge out of the clusterfock of the Raider backfield - and if he does then he's pretty good trade bait. If not, then he's one of my offseason cuts. Mehhhh. Cotchery just seems to be a guy who made plays in college. He may never be more than a #2, and is not likely to get on the field this season. But he's 22 and I guess the favorable comparisons to KRob made me consider him. Both were guys I considered and rejected the last time I picked. It was nice to see some guys make it back to me for once.
whoisjgalt 0 Posted June 24, 2004 Also, is there any focking way we could finish this thing tomorrow?
Wilzone 0 Posted June 24, 2004 Not likely, but it would be nice. By the way, I'm moving to a new office tomorrow and my computer may be down at any point in the near future. If it gets to my pick, feel free to give me a call on my cell.
Orgazmo 2 Posted June 24, 2004 Both were guys I considered and rejected the last time I picked. It was nice to see some guys make it back to me for once. After passing on Jolley the previous round, I was very happy to see him stick around for me. He was moving quickly up the rankings last year but Oakland made everyone look bad. OB1 33 Posted June 24, 2004 I highly doubt that this guy will be gone. If so, I'll be home in an hour or so to pick. Reno Mahe, RB, PHI :hyper: Not 3 minutes later, Buffy picks him.
Mark Buffington 3 Posted June 24, 2004 Awesome! I can't wait for Wilzone to get home. :hyper:
EMoney 0 Posted June 24, 2004 Mahe was overrated as a receiver I thought. I can't imagine him being around for too long in the NFL as a RB.
Mark Buffington 3 Posted June 24, 2004 Thanks for the tip, Emoney! RB - Warrick Dunn, ATL RB - Tyrone Wheatley, Oak RB - Quentin Griffin, Den RB - Artose Pinner, Det RB - Ron Dayne, NYG

Wilzone 0 Posted June 24, 2004 I've liked Josh Harris ever since I drafted him last year in Madden football for the PS2. He went on to replace Patrick Ramsey, led the Redskins to two Super Bowl victories, and was a perennial Pro Bowler.
whoisjgalt 0 Posted June 24, 2004 Emailage sent to both of the addies for BNF. I may not be able to check back often so hopefully he sends the pick to everyone who was copied (usually at least to O so far).
OB1 33 Posted June 25, 2004 I've changed my mind 6 times while waiting for this pick, but in the end I thought Sam shouldn't be around this late. Eventually, he could be the big WR NE is looking for, though there is a logjam there now.
