No point to this thread, I just wanted to bore you. What does your roster look like?

I'd say you've done a pretty nice job. I did much the same. My draft was screwed when I took SA with the second pick and drafted my buddy who plays TE for the Lions lol. Other notables I drafted were SJax, DJack, Hasselbeck, Edge and Vick.

 

Through WW pickups and some crafty trades (including picking up A. Bryant, Cotchery and T Williamson when they were blowing up and dealing when their value was high) I have managed to put together a first place team averaging around 165 points a game in a PPR league. I basically capitalized on picking up guys that were having a nice couple of weeks early and dealing them for guys like TO, Housh, Fitz that were either performing poorly, injured etc. I managed to deal SA a day before he announced his broken foot. Everyone told me I was crazy for dealing away SJax before week one for K. Jones and J. Walker but it has come to fruition now with K. Jones being 4th or 5th (a couple points behind SJax) best back in my league and Walker coming in as the third best WR in my league.

 

My lineup now (I can't really name a starting lineup as it changes every week based on matchups...an aspect I LOVE about my team) is:

 

QB: Kittna, Hasselbeck, S. Wallace

RB: K. Jones, C. Taylor, Edge

WR: TO, Housh, DJack, J. Walker, Driver, Fitzgerald

TE: Winslow, Fitzsimmons

K: Gould (drafted)

DL: Briggs

DB: Hope

D: Morrison

 

Of these guys the only ones that I drafted are Hasselbeck, Edge, DJack, Fitzsimmons, Gould and Briggs.

 

So I had one terrible draft. But with a bit of luck, have managed to turn my team into the top dog. That's what I love about FF. No matter what, you're never out of it.

No, this is not a 5 team league. It is actually an 8 team league. (I know, not much difference, but still) Moss was picked up off of the waiver wire after someone had dropped him early in the season. I only picked him up for insurance, just in case he started putting up numbers. He's been riding the bench all season on my team. Jamal Lewis was just picked up this past week. He also was dropped by someone a while back. Baltimore's defense was immediately picked up by me at the beginning of the season. I'm not sure how I let that one slip by me in the draft. It's all good now though. I had the 7th pick in a snake format draft. My first four picks were Ronnie Brown, LaMont Jordan (dropped), Torry Holt and Chad Johnson. (In that order) I didn't even pick up Caddy until the 5th round which was surprising. My biggest steal of the draft I believe was taking Andre Johnson with my last pick of the draft....17th.

You played the WW to a tee...yet the only guy you picked up that you actually play is Gould.

 

Seems more like you traded pretty well, but lost Peyton to obtain Tiki, Portis, Taylor (in some sort of one...one of them and maybe a WR).

And then this makes me think you are playing in a league of noobs - The I traded Cadillac and McGahee for Tiki so it's not hard to turn a team of crap into gold. Cadillac and McGahee have done NOTHING all year long and this guy trades Tiki Barber to get them???? LOLOLOL
